  1. getting a closer not only helps us improve in the closing role but allows us to use Cecil.
  2. I'm just looking at his defensive value
  3. Donaldson & Martin porn http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/13101638/josh-donaldson-russell-martin-making-impact-toronto-blue-jays
  4. Lawrie is having an odd year http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=5247&position=3B
  5. Devon Travis better get red hot quick when he comes back. I think both Correa and especially Gallo could take the ROY this year.
  6. Both are below average players. But why are we comparing them? Copeland is not part of the rotation. And you want to take Masterson's salary just so he can throw in 2 starts before Sanchez gets back? ???
  7. This Your tickets when you purchase them by default are loaded on the card. You will have to go to the account manager and select to transfer the tickets by email. Also, very, very important while we're talking about it: If you ever decide to transfer tickets to sell on stubhub, for example, you will have to "print" out the ticket which will give you a PDF, which you upload to stubhub. And if you ever decide to remove your listing and go to the game instead, you need to transfer the tickets back to the card. If you don't, and just bring your flex card, you will be denied entry because the tickets are no longer loaded to the card and except are loaded on to the pdf. I nearly missed a game because of this.
  8. How can anyone argue that Masterson is good? He was good two years ago. A year ago he was bad. This year he is worse. Granted, I haven't looked at the peripherals to see if he's been unlucky or whatever, but I tend to give more leeway to pitchers who have a consistent record of being good lately. Dickey, Buehrle and Hutch have been good in the past. Not great, but good. I fully expect the first two to regress, but not to the point that they can't pitch in the AL East. I expect Dickey to improve, he's not this bad. Same thing with Hutch. I'm willing to give Estrada a chance, especially now that he is working in his 3rd pitch curveball (and will introduce his cutter more). Sanchez is self explanatory.
  9. Masterson isn't better than anyone we have in the rotation right now.
  10. here ya go http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/standings/expanded

  17. Carrera has provided quite good value on both sides of the game: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=9048&position=OF
  18. 1.049 OPS for Duda against lefties.
  19. Gibbons, do you read the scouting report and splits? https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8796/splits/
  20. well it was great while it lasted
