  1. I can't see the field being safe enough to play...how long are they going to delay this?
  2. I really need to do this one year. I tried my last year of undergrad....but no luck
  3. Game 79 Pillar (7pts) - Jonn Donaldson (2pts) - Edwin (2pts) - Spanky99, Condor13 Tulo (3pts) - labadee, baseballsss, Candy Maldonado, vdub, Nafro Smoak (5pts) - Saunders (2pts) - Martin (5pts) - LTBF Thole (10pts) - Goins (10pts) - Carrera (10pts)- Barney(10pts) - Travis (7pts) - jays4life19, Deadpool Lake (10Pts) - Bench (10pts) -
  4. The only problem is this was probably the easiest stretch of games we were going to have for a while. Needed to do way better than we have
  5. And the White Sox were 15 games above .500 this year....doesn't mean anything until the season ends.
  6. 2 bad NL teams and a bad white sox team....and we get destroyed with 2 games left in Colorado. Then we get the Indians who have won 10 straight....season going south quickly in a stretch we should have beat some bad teams.
  7. Let's leave him in until we are down 6...its the Gibby way
  8. I'm picking Donaldson for tonight.
  9. Game 77 Vdub and Spanky +5
  10. I'm not reading the rest of your post because I'm getting off for awhile, but to answer the first part....ALL of them. My brother is a huge White Sox fan and Sale is his favorite player.
  11. If you think this was a peak game for Sale there is no point in continuing to debate this. He didn't have a good fastball, missed his spots a lot, left more than a few balls up, and had a below avg slider today for what he usually has.
  12. His pitch selection was actually worse imo and his offspeed still can not be used effectively because he can't throw strikes with the 2 seam.
  13. Doesn't matter it's a team sport and he did his job.
  14. I will after tomorrow's game. I am going to be busy the rest of today and tomorrow.
  15. And you are saying world class Allstar hitters are just an afterthought because you know an ace is on the mound. Anybody can be beat if you have the right approach. Today our hitters for the most part had a terrible one. I never said they are terrible hitters, but please keep making s*** up
  16. At the end of the day Stroman did his job against the White Sox. Only gave up 2 earned runs and if the defense did it's job it would have been tied 2-2 in the 8th inning. Not a good start but 100% acceptable
  17. It's like you are ignoring what I am saying and making it up to fit your own agenda
  18. Sale isn't using the Philosophy from his Cy caliber seasons. He is using Stroman's philosophy of pitch to contact. According to you no one ever gets a hit off an ace. It's like these professional hitters are just bricks that are at the mercy of the amazing pitcher
  19. He did not throw a 4 seam from what I saw...and if you mean overall on the 2 seam...it was about a month or two after he came back up in his rookie season if I remember correctly.
  20. Hopefully they realize it's not the windup but the pitch in general isn't working.
  21. Yes some need perspective. If a pitcher continuously throws the ball outside and 8/9 hitters keep pulling the ball for gb outs. The pitcher didn't do a great job...the hitters did a horrible job.
  22. This month KC and Detroit had a combined 20 hits and 9 runs off Sale in 12 innings...so he hasn't been that good. Heck those outings are very similar to Stroman today. Edit: towards the end of May the Indians scored 6 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks in 3.1 innings on Sale. Guy is not unhittable
