    You are making my point. The trade isn't the most lopsided in history because we do not know the careers each player, especially one still in the minors, will have.

    It was a great trade, but it will only be one of the most lopsided ever if Barretto doesn't pan out. What if he wins 3 MVPs? Won't be lopsided then.

    You can only say this for the past and immediate future. When Barretto hits his prime I bet many on here will be saying wtf did we do.

    Stroman's problem isnt really pitch angle, velocity, release distance, etc.....its pitch location and pitch usuage. For about a month now the sinker has been crap, it's been up in the zone and not on the corners. He misses the first 2 pitches of an AB and is in a 2-0 count and has to throw it over the plate. This is probably why the sinker needs to be scrapped...not because it's bad, but because he cannot locate it enough to be effective. Then when he is ahead of the count it's mostly all offspeed or all fastballs. No setting up pitches.

    The way it is playing out is best. He is getting rocked because he can't locate the fastball. Probably because of the movement keeps taking it over the plate to righties. Once he gets it in his head the pitch type and philosophy is not working for him...hopefully he makes the change. Hopefully that's today.

    Disagree...he has a 7 ERA against the AL EAST and a 3 ERA against everyone else. We play 30 straight games not in the AL EAST so it's fine to leave him up as long as he produces better results like he has against all no AL EAST teams.

    I heard it after a pitcher threw a no hitter and from a pitcher that lead the AL in Ks (I think) last season. Both are considered the best pitchers in their respective leagues this season.
