  1. I hope it does. It would be so simple to have 1 guy at every stadium with access to every angle, and any bang bang play of HR call can be instantly reviewed between pitches by that ump and not slow anything down by any real measure. Look how quick TV has replays up that are conclusive? Ay close play, ump from upstairs just buzzes down to the crew chief to say he's reviewing a play, and just says the call is good or not and it gets reversed or stands and play resumes as normal.
  2. I think he's been playing with a much more apparent "restrained intensity" lately. Didn't fly around like a retard after his walk off hit, isn't trying to rip people's arms off with high fives... But still extremely high effort
  3. I don't think anyone is lumping you in that category. I don't have an issue with someone being excited for anyone getting called up, but when you compare them to a guy like Profar... then it's gotta be pointed out as pretty silly.
  4. Voting was limited to those proficient in Braille.
  5. It's not about getting scolded, but really man you have to realize that a players age and how they perform against people older than them is one the single biggest indicators of future career success. Not taking it into account is just stupid.
  6. Who ended up screwing it up for you?
  7. IN related news, Bud Selig now fully accepts that E-mail is a thing.
  8. It is going to be a war room, all calls are going to be reviewed by a dedicated group in NYC. Owners still have to vote on it in November.
  9. Kawasaki scared Lester with his character there leading to the error
  10. That's what I was getting at captain obvious. Lol
  11. A good LF would have had that. Good thing Gomes is a s***** fielder
  12. Don't rag on deRosa, he showed a lot of character while almost killing that rally
  13. Nice to see and I think largely due to the optimism through the first half of the season. The TV numbers are more important though. If the ratings are up significantly, that means way more than increase in attendance
  14. Just me or does Pillar look like Pinocchio in the Shrek movies?
  15. "Lester, he has a lot in his sack...." Another gem from Tabler
  16. Buck just can't stop fellating Kawasaki. Weak ass groundouts to the pitcher.... " boy he shows a lot of hustle sprinting down the line. That can really rub off on your teammates." Jesus...
  17. Definitely. Would rather have Kawasaki than Cano every day of the week too
  18. Holy f*** Buck .... " you'll take character over talent every day of the week." Wtf
  19. Andy Burns having a nice run at AA after a slow star after his promotion. Hitting .300/.349/.600 over his last 10 with 6 star base hits including 2 HR
  20. Good matchup for Pillar in his first game, he's been killing lefties. Side note, Drabek is up to AAA to join the Bisons
  21. I started applauding at work when this came down and people really looked at me funny except the one other blue jays/baseball fan who pretty much did the same thing
  22. All I can say is, it's about bloody f***ing time.
