  1. Not hard to see the game plan against the lefties tonight. Sliders down and in, the occasional fastball away to set up the outer half change... Hope they're paying attention.
  2. Was a nice pitch, same thing he tried to throw Lind, but this time it was placed perfectly
  3. I don't mind this against RHP Lawrie doesn't take enough walks, though he is a better contact hitter
  4. Dammit Gump, wait for your pitch, the high strike and the ball in the dirt are not something you should be swinging at. Almost guaranteed k now
  5. These big money teams are killing me in the sportsnet pool, I took the dodgers on opening day, Boston yesterday and the Yankees today... Looking like 0-3 ...
  6. I understand why they allow the outside communication, but maybe they institute some sort of time limit that the manager has to challenge within or something. Kind of like a shot clock in basketball that automatically starts as soon as the play is over, if the challenge isn't issued within 30 seconds, move on.
  7. It's not the replay policy that's the problem, it's the way they've allowed managers to delay things while they wait. I'm sure they'll tweak it as they go to put some kind of limit on that
  8. One drawback of replay, gonna see these managers kill all kinds of time very game while they wait for the dugout to confirm if they should challenge
  9. Ok Hutch, nice quick inning and get the bats back out there
  10. Man these Jays hitters are just open books on where to pitch them... Anyone with half decent command could eat them alive
  11. First pitch breaking balls to everyone except Melky...
  12. I really hope Edwin clues in that he's not going to see anything on the inner half, everything is going to be soft and away and he needs to make an adjustment in this series
  13. I don't get why people think Rogers calls AA and tells him whether or not money is available and to go after players. It's the complete reverse. AA will have a number and a player in mind, talk the players agent, the agent will laugh and tell AA his valuation is less than half of what the market value for the player is, can f*** off, and the money discussion with ownership never even happens.
  14. I got 2 as well with Cano and Posey last night. Gonna stick with Posey again tonight but gonna take Trout as my double down. Also taking the Yankees over Houston in the sportsnet thing.
  15. Gimme Edwin today, he'll redeem himself after that s*** show yesterday
  16. Devlin - this is the time for the raptors to make a run.... Interesting theory if 5 bench players weren't on the floor at the same time and the Raps bench gets out scored by about 30 points every game.
  17. I'd take it a step further, just tell the defense to stand in one spot the entire time and see how many fouls get called against them.
  18. It's not going to get better with Hayes, Salmons, Vasquez, De Colo and Novak all on the floor right now against LeBron.
  19. Great, so... Izturis going to play short then? If anyone needs me, I'm going to tie a noose and find a wobbly chair.
  20. Refs really just controlling this game. This is awful to watch.
  21. Sorry Pattrson, you came within 5 feet of a Heat player taking a shot. and 1!
