  1. His swing is okay, he's just not really adjusting to what the pitchers are doing to him. He and Jose are so 1 dimensional, a good pitcher can really exploit them. He missed the mistake in that AB, but he was right on it
  2. Nice to see Cobb close to 100 pitches in the 5th. Get into that pen
  3. Christ Jose... Not every pitch is going to be a fastball. You've seen the same pitch like 10 times tonight in and you still can't pick it up...
  4. It didnt but that's one of those locations that's rarely called consistently just because it's so close the extreme upper corner
  5. I really wonder if umps go back at the end of the game and check on the strikes they missed... Usually it's in the same area multiple times
  6. It's amazing what a guy with more than 1 pitch can do against hitters
  7. I think he's owned in less than 0 percent of all fantasy leagues....
  8. Nice stolen base there too, good time for it with Melky up. Worst case he's thrown out and Melky starts the next inning
  9. Wow Lawrie's speed is very underrated I think, there's lots of guys that would have easily been gunned at home there
  10. No s***, bunting is usually stupid regardless but you'd certainly never do it with 1 out
  11. Jesus Buck, I guaranf***ingtee Maddon is not listening to you.... Ever!
  12. Attaboy Lawrie and that was made by taking that close pitch outside. Very good AB
  13. Gonna go with the change again here full count on Lawrie
  14. The results have been okay in this game but long term the approach won't likely be as successful.
  15. One bad call in his second AB doesn't explain why he did the same thing in his first one. The Rays would love it if Jose hit long fouls all night long because there's no way to keep those fair. He has to let them go.
  16. I'm not impressed with Jose and Edwin's approaches tonight. Jose is swinging at everything off the plate inside because he thinks it's the only thing he will see that isn't down and away... And Edwin almost seems like he guessing.
  17. Ejecting the manager is hardly a punishment.
  18. That, or have a challenge clock, after the play if there's no challenge within 30 seconds, or maybe 45, it can't be challenged. Simple
  19. I think the better argument against Rasmus in the 2 hole is what we just saw. A strike-out prone hitter isn't a great bet to keep an inning alive for your #3 guy with 2 outs and runners on base I still think it's okay against RHP, but he has to be more selective
  20. Yeah Buck, but the second one was accidental.... Not the plan
