  1. Nice out by the ump there. 3-0 count vs 1-2 is kind of a big difference
  2. What the s*** was that Lawrie? 3 pitches not in the strike zone and you're out swinging?
  3. Rofl.... Edwin gets s*** on again back to back line drives caught.
  4. It's more the lack of solid contact overall that's the problem.
  5. I meant the first one. Jose is better at hitting balls down than the ones up.
  6. Oh jose, that was your 1 crushable pitch for this AB
  7. Why? He's not good at baseball, he was never even good in the minors so why expect some sort of magic turnaround in the majors?
  8. No kidding, Thole doesn't exactly have a good chance to score on a single so why give up the out...
  9. I'm watching a stream from NESN, they're commenting on how the Jays are sacrificing much more and you don't typically see that from the Jays. Of course they're right, but then they aren't used to seeing a completely useless bottom of the lineup.
  10. Hit an offspeed meatball like he should have. Doesn't mean his overall approach is sound. Lets look at his pitch values this year and you can see why he's struggling so much. FAstball value - -1.5 runs. IN his previous 3 years, +12.6, 6.4 and 7.2. He's also well below his career norms against the offspeed stuff, with the exception of the splitter. Whether his issues are mechanical or approach related, he's getting bad results overall.
  11. That's just it, at least Gose has tools that can help the team. Sierra is a warm body taking up a roster spot. He's bad defensively, bad on the base paths, has no platoon split advantage and minimal power. The only reason he's here is because he has no options and AA doesn't want to lose him as an asset.... though we really just covered... He's not an asset. He's filler. He should never have made the team and by now should be DFA'd. THere's just no excuse to have this clown on the roster.
  12. I'm no expert on body language and facial expressions, but to me it looks like Sierra is about as checked out mentally as you can get. Doesn't look focused at all.
  13. and now you see why this guy has been through so many teams...
  14. Line drive after line drive finding gloves this whole series
  15. I got through about 5 minutes. I think harmonica, accordion and wood block music is a lost art.
  16. Donaldson blocked the bag, springer had no chance to get to the bag cleanly.
  17. Game 25 Reyes (3pts) - Melky (1pt) - Bautista (1pt) - Edwin (2pts) - orgfiller, Spanky99, Jonn, jaysblue, Dylan, Francisco (2pts) - Navarro (4pts) - JFaS Rasmus (2pts) - Lawrie (2pts) - JohnHavok, flafson Thole (8pts) - Goins (7pts) - Diaz (8pts) - Streaks * Flafson going for 4 in a row!! +2 Next person to make a pick copy and paste this list and add your pick.
  18. Not gonna lie, that's super bold considering they're facing a lefty.
  19. Not anymore. He started the rebuilding process very well. Then either was pressured to, or decided on his own to try and take a what amounts to a very high risk shortcut, went full derp in trades, targeted an aging trick pitcher as the anchor of the rotation, while simultaneously focusing on almost nothing else but the bullpen. It was the weirdest 180 in GM direction ever
  20. Not sure what I have to do to get a friggin pick right... Brb, going to cut the head off a chicken
