    I really wish you would add something relevant to baseball discussion other than "omg just let everyone play ball and hope it works out better than last year.... every player will either be as good as the were last year better or worse, why bother trying to predict it"

    If any GM gives Estrada 5/70 they're an idiot. His skillet is precisely one that never gets paid because he's walking the edge of a knife every time he pitches. Flyball pitchers that rely on weak contact as their only attribute are implosions waiting to happen.

    Not bad, but there's 0 chance Donaldson jumps to 20 million from 4.3 this year. He'll get paid, but a jump like that in arbitration is unheard of.

    I think it's incredibly important for the team not to become the Phillies of the north, with more than their share of aging declining players on brutal contracts. And with Martin, Tulo already locked up, unless both Edwin and Jose take below market deals, thats exactly where they are headed.

    In his defense, it was a ball. The strike zone is the same in a 1 run game or a 6 run game.
