  1. It's still going on. Most recent comment was he would have had no hesitation in keeping Gibbons on as manager. No comment on whether he thinks gibby's job is in jeopardy now.
  2. Next question was "if Paul Beeston was still the president of the blue Jays in 2016, would Alex still be the vp of baseballops/gm?" Complete dodge of that question too
  3. And another plus with Bastardo, Angrioter can get him to give us a discount. Just throw in a couple donkeys for transportation and it's a done deal.
  4. Yet kawasaki is somehow on the roster every year.
  5. It's not so much a talent comparison it's moreso a comparison of keeping an aging core ot talent together with large money deals that tum into awful situations in the blink if an eye that can completely kill a team for years. I'm not saying they have to immediately trade Jose or Edwin, just that they need to be willing to them go because theres no way they can sign them both to extensions at market rate deals and then have 4 players eating 80+ milion of payroll space in 2017 and beyond when this team has historically not been one thats going to be pushing up against the luxury tax.
  6. For me, I would only trade him if he can net a decent starter, or as part of a bigger deal to net a really ood starter. Other than that he's my LF next year.
  7. I hope he and Anthopoulos realize how close they are to becoming the Phillies (1-2 years away if they re-sign both Edwin and Bautista), and start cycling out some of the aging players for younger better ones.
  8. NL MVP article up. http://www.breakingblue.ca/2015/10/24/breaking-blue-2015-nl-mvp/ Spencer's FRIAS projection system reviewed: http://www.breakingblue.ca/2015/10/23/2015-frias-pitching-projections-review/ NIkolai's article of Steamer projections for the Jays 2016: http://www.breakingblue.ca/2015/10/23/the-2016-blue-jays-according-to-steamer/ Click 'em all Joe!

  10. You don't think having a 3-1 count versus 2-2 changes the pitchers thought process at all in this massive situation? Those blown calls are huge
  11. I can see the fangraphs article tomorrow already if Davis gives up the lead after an hour long rest...
  12. No balk. But damn that was like a millisecond pause
  13. Me neither. Him against 99 Mph and that nasty breaking s*** is a K waiting to happen
  14. As if on queue a dinky hit for Martin lol. In comes Pompey
  15. I can't either. Between my throbbing homer erection, gibby spitting on Ken Rosenthal, and this, I may need to go to the emergency room
  16. Oh f*** gibby.. "Sorry for spittin' on ya there Kenny..." I'm f***ing dying....
