  1. This is where Pillar has to not suck. SAC FLY MINIMUM
  2. Lolololol, lucksack Barney but we'll take it. And no error, that should be a hit
  3. Ok Happ, nice quick inning and get the bats right back out there
  4. It's really nice when the middle of the lineup heats up at the same time and the bottom of the lineup doesn't play like replacement level T-ballers.
  5. That's a ridiculous opinion. Speaking on behalf of all board members who have contributed cash to keep this site going... Shut the f*** up.
  6. HOw about 2 broken bat hits, a wild pitch and a walk?
  7. That's just clutch bseball - Gregg Zaun
  8. Not sure of the logic of starting Carrera over Saunders when they are both lefties... but maybe they just want to Saunders' knee/hammy extra rest when they are at home on the turf.
  9. Speaking of which, mlb.coms top 30 international ranking just came out http://m.mlb.com/news/article/176188132/top-30-international-prospects-list-revealed
  10. I haven't looked at the numbers yet, but just feels like he mixed it better tonight. Still had 0 command of his change but he still threw it. I don't recall seeing a cutter so he may have shelved it. Liked the curve ball usage as the game wore on
  11. That was pretty much the same pitch he walked off to yesterday, today it's a K.
  12. Bautista getting his sprints in
  13. No kidding. I bet if you took a poll, they'd actually believe that after the first 2 or 3 picks, they're still drafting based on talent alone
  14. The kind of swing you should take on a hanging slider.
  15. Oooo just missed that one...
  16. Ugg Edwin .668 OPS... he can't heat up fast enough
  17. Was a nice slider. This is the kind of pitcher that you can sit on the breaking ball and adjust to the fastball because it's not overpowering. If you load up for a fastball all night, there's going to be a K parade back to the dugout.
  18. Why not? They're tasty
  19. I would agree if he threw the 4 seamer high and in. Throwing a 2 seam fastball high in the zone kills it's sink and run. Overall the point remains the same in every Sanchez start. He can't reliably miss bats when he needs to.
  20. Sinkers/2 seam fastballs are not swing and miss pitches.
  21. And pitching to contact 1-2....
