  1. 108 on the screws with a .760 hit chance. Tough luck Springer
  2. Just meant the last inning. Also wasn't a judgement on the results, just saying he looks tired.
  3. Body language-wise...Scherzer looks tired. Could be weather, could be all the time on the shelf and not getting a full ramp up, could be age. Maybe some combo of all of the above but he definitely looks a bit gassed
  4. Sure. My thoughts are definitely based on my own interpretations of what he has said publicly in the past. I think these second generation star players just have much more insight into how the business side works, and, an assumption on my part that the father's imparted many examples of players being drastically underpaid, including themselves in some cases... which leads the sons to definitively want to test free agency and squeeze every dollar they can based on how they value themselves. Some projection here on my part for sure, but thats how I see it.
  5. Bichette has only ever indicated he wants max money, team friendly extensions don't give him that. He was the guy that turned down a pre-arbitration raise because it wasn't high enough. Nothing about Nimmala is any factor on whether Bichette signs or doesnt sign a new deal with the Jays
  6. Bubic just went to the IL with shoulder problem, rotator cuff strain
  7. Kirk is on the 7 day concussion IL Damn
  8. If we look at genetics there is some hope too... Vlad sr never really slowed down with the bat until he was 34...and was still above average. He only had one year with an OPS+ under 100 and it was 98 in his age 36 season. If Jr follows the same track...his contract is only bad for maybe 4-5 years?
  9. And still lead the division by 8 games (7 if Cleveland wins game 2 of their doubleheader)...shows how weak the central is yet again.
  10. K, now Hoffman can sit down i think. Let Green come in and give up 2 or 3
  11. Hard to say to use Hoffman or not...he was already up and warming, hasn't pitched in 4 days... its not a bad call to have him pitch Well...that was before Springer made it 5 runs lol
  12. Little and Hoffman and its another series win.
  13. All it took was getting one of the best pitchers in MLB out of the game. Only a matter of time
  14. I can't stand watching Jimenez hit. His approach is non-existant
  15. Bad baserunning by Gleyber there too, he should've been at 2b when Barger dropped that fly had he been running hard out of the box
  16. Naw, just s*** luck really, he had to go back to tag...but the next guy up should have been screaming or signaling to slide... not sure if it would have made a difference but, maybe?
  17. Some really great PAs there from Vlad and especially Bo to get that pitch count up
  18. Skubal has his best stuff today, not gonna be easy to scratch anything across. Need him out of this game
  19. See thats the beauty of it...the opposition would never expect a trick play with a f***ing idiot at 3rd. Element of surprise
  20. Doubleheader would be awful given we alredy have one against Baltimore in afew days.
  21. As won't trade Rooker after just signing him to an extension, and especially now with Kurtz looking legit. If anything, they'll sell off any rentals they can like the Jays did last season, whike keeping thw core intact and make some offseason moves to improve the pitching staff and round out the lineup.
