  1. Time to turn it off. Every year it gets more insufferable to watch. 5 minute pick clocks yet they only manage to get through 5 picks in 45 minutes. Just dragging on.... and on.... and on.
  2. Yeah, I bet they really regret going to the live video of his place. He looked like someone just killed his dog.
  3. Neither can my fantasy roster...
  4. I'd trade them both for Trout tomorrow.
  5. Trading Trout is about as much of a no-win scenario as it can get. The best player in any trade involving Trout, will always be Trout, no matter how many prospects and/or players you get back.
  6. Yup. Definitely not fully human.
  7. Still can't believe some of these teams are in the competitive balance pick pool. Also, interesting fact - Minnesota will be drafting 1st overall while also being in first place of their division at the time of the draft. Hasn't happened since 2001 when ... Minnesota did it.
  8. Yep. 11 points from 1st to 7th right now
  9. Hate those things. Our company does it all the time in meetings and it always boils down to someone saying 2 things that are obviously true, and a third one where it's like 95% true except they changed a number, like " I went to Hawaii for 3 weeks last year" when they really only went for 2 weeks and 3 days.
  10. Pitching let me down, but that can happen when you bargain shop and stack offense. Might stay in the points ... might not
  11. Well, this is his 6th minor league season and hasn't done anything to prove himself, so probably pretty good. But not likely during the season since he's at Dunedin and that roster likely won't change much due to anyone they draft. He's probably an offseason release candidate.
  12. Gotta love it when the wind blows out at Wrigley
  13. Most roster moves have already happened. There's guys every year in the low minors that get cut, released, retire... or promoted to replace higher minors guys that have been cut, released... retired. Some will be hurt and stashed on the DL, plus the really low international signees from last year that won't be stateside will be already assigned to the Dominican summer League which started about a week ago.
  14. Yeah that's how i went also. Might be a bad plan, might be gold.
  15. I'll post my lineup just for fun. Lcoke and Lamet for pitching. .. then I went Cub Crazy... Montero, Rizzo, Zobrist and Bryant. Aledmys Diaz Blackmon Harper Judge
  16. I was out golfing earlier but I've reserved.
  17. GCL... maybe Bluefield if he's really been impressive in extended spring
  18. I've tried reading your posts, but found I would have to lose about 50 IQ points for them to make sense.
  19. Even if he doesn't get drafted and some team signs him as an undated FA... can you imagine the locker room aura with him around? Any player with kids would never ... ever give him the time of day. Talent or not the poison his situation could control in the locker room would be incredibly difficult to manage. Let alone the public backlash... bring your kids to the ballpark! Child molester pitching tonight!
  20. It's always nice when a troll maybe tried to go legit for 1 post and then whines about not being taken seriously. Maybe if 99% of your posts weren't the equivalent of baby vomit mixed with dog s*** this wouldn't be an issue.
  21. Yes, and the point of the system was to ensure that teams had the best chance to sign their own stars instead of watching them all go to LA, New York... wherever the biggest basketball destinations were. But the unintended result has been teams able to go way over the salary cap without penalty and essentially limit 2 or 3 teams in the league to even have the slightest chance at the title. I doubt that was their goal. Understand I'm not arguing against the system, I can just understand why some probably hate it with a passion.
  22. BTS = Ray Rice... anyone have the video?
  23. I think though, we can clearly see that 1 player doesn't make a champion caliber team. Now you need 3 All Stars minimum to win, and 1 of them better be a future HOF talent
  24. It also shines a light on how silly the NBA's contracts are regarding bird rights and the salary cap - though that really depends on how you view a small number of teams being able to build dynasty rosters and basically run an entire decade of NBA greatness.
