  1. Halladay's plane was the first of the 2018 model year to be delivered to a buyer also
  2. Maybe, but the loss is not on his shoulders. Just because he couldn't make up for every other failure in the last 2 minutes ... Without Irving and Hayward and they still cant beat the Celtics. Get ready for another 2nd round playoff exit
  3. That's all he can do. And he, along with a s***** playcall from Casey (shocking) cost the raps the game.
  4. 3/65 is hardly a bad contract for guy like him. With all the money in the NBA these days that's pretty much market rate.
  5. I agree, but that doesn't let him off the hook when it comes to what he is as a player in today's NBA. He's not the superstar that the media hypes him as, and as long as he is counted on to be the man, this team won't be winning a championship unless he dractically changes his game, which at this point in his career is highly unlikely
  6. Keep Jansen, not sure how you'd not protect a guy who hit as well as he did last season over 3 levels as a catcher. McGuire doesn't really matter....he doesn't move the needle. Pentecost is a tricky one, there's pretty legit arguments on both sides. Pannone is a keeper for sure IMO. Maybe a late bloomer, but either way he throws left handed and misses bats enough to be cheap starting depth. Definitely keep imo
  7. And yet what is he being asked to be in Toronto? The central building block franchise player.
  8. His defense will never be a plus though, hes not a black hole anymore, but that never going to be a real part of his game. He's a pure 1 dimensional scorer at the most inefficient type of shot and that's just not a guy that you can build a championship team around IMO
  9. Too bad he's being paid like an elite franchise player.... which he isn't. The problem with Derozan is that his strengths are what the NBA was 15 years ago. Long developing plays with a shot taken with 5 seconds or less on the clock from mid range, which is the least efficient way to score in the NBA. He can't handle the ball well in ISO, and can't shoot the 3 anywhere near well enough to be a shooting guard. He does pass well enough though so that when he gets keyed on he can move it away. He's a great scorer because of volume of shots and the free throw line, not because he's a particularly great player.
  10. Your buddy is a disgrace to the gene pool. Birds of a feather I suppose.
  11. Played a really good 2nd half and his D made McCollum a non-factor. Yeah he's struggling with scoring, but not on D.
  12. Nah, according to his draft time line he was 2 years away from being 2 years away... so the start of this season puts him at 1 year away.
  13. Ditto in Hollywood over that Weinstein stuff. There's only outrage because the public found out, Hollywood knew it for years and years and years and did nothing, and no women ever came forward until it was out
  14. Cuz mlb is racist and won't let Angel Hernandez do it.... duh
  15. At least they got the win, won the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters with a Lowry triple/double.
  16. Good effort, but some very bad decision making during critical stretches. Ah well, off to GS to get blown out.
  17. That's actually a good question just posed by Jack Armstrong... are there enough shooters(assume he means from 3 point range) on the Raptors? Lowry, Ibaka and Miles for sure, DeRozan sucks from there, Powell is decent. Van Vleet is inconsistent and probably won't see enough minutes to really matter, Wright isnt great. Pretty good point for a team that's relying heavily on the 3 ball.
  18. Yet another Derozan turnover on the dribble. ..Popovich is laughing himself to death at this. Literally the worst option to handle the ball and the Raps are giving it to him every time. Shoot, Powell had a great look there and just missed by a hair
  19. Aldridge has to go, Ibaka shouldn't. ... but probably will.
  20. And Derozan keeps turning it over whenever he tries to dribble....he just doesn't learn.
  21. True, but in the 2nd half, the majority of those looks are deep in the shot clock after standing around for 23 seconds. That's not supposed to be the game plan. Quick shots, pushing the tempo and moving the ball.
  22. Yeah... bjt SA is without Kawai and Parker, Raps should win this easy but they're juts not as active in the 2nd half. Lots of standing around and iso-ball. Poeltl is playing very well though. Up by 6 with 9 to go.... looks good if the 1st unit can keep it up when they get back in, which they should given the aforementioned absences from San Antonio.
  23. At the half raps are getting out rebounded 31-15, but are winning the turnover battle with only 5 vs SAs 12.
  24. Drake just called the Raps going to Eastern finals
