  1. It would also make more sense if it was actually true. If you look at his underlying numbers Gurriel is actually slightly unlucky given his exit velo and results. But why let reality creep in to whatever world tercet lives in.
  2. Lol, you may want to
  3. He's not rule 5 eligible yet.
  4. Like I said, it's not a non-zero chance because of exactly what you said. But as Hurl mentioned, he's not rule 5 eligible yet (drafted 2016 so this is just his 3rd season, after 2019 he would be added or risk being lost) so there isn't a need to bring him up...NH is going to the playoffs, and if I'm not mistaken, I recall a conversation from somewhere where Atkins mentioned he is a proponent of a player spending time at every level before making the big leagues, which obviously Biggio hasn't done yet
  5. It's not a non-zero chance, but I doubt it.
  6. Now you know now Denny Janzin feels.
  7. You can talk about them in any comprison you want, they're still useles without any other accompanying info, thereby making their comparison to historic numbers....useless. You may as well be discussing how the players generally don't wear high socks anymore, that's about as relevant.
  8. Batting averages without any other info are useless. Who's a better hitter, the guy hitting .243 or the guy hitting .293 ?
  9. Did you listen to the rest of that sentence or the context?
  10. Heard a rumour Groshans was moved up to Bluefield. Any truth to this?
  11. I guess, but that's completely unrealistic given his age and career averages. Him being .230/.350 and a 1-1.5 WAR player is probably the best we will see at this point, and that's perfectly fine for a 36 year catcher old next season.
  12. He wanted a meat stick and some Powerade
  13. I'd rather him hit .200/.350 than .260/.290
  14. Yup. Dude is just guessing when to swing. Hes flailed at more breaking balls bouncing in front of the plate than Pillar.
  15. Kind of a nothing burger. 23 year old reliever in high A walking 7 per 9.
  16. He has to drive past a gym to go to the casino. That counts
  17. As predicted folks.
  18. Ump has been f***ing him too. Has taken 2 Ks from him
  19. Those are solid entries for a grade 6 kid. I have more respect for him now.
  20. Weird. Your first paragraph agrees that he isn't worth trade value, then goes on to say why he should have been traded for something of value even though your first statement says he wouldn't be worth something of value. Not sure what side you're on here. Also, just because you suggest a trade of X for X, then one X gets hurt and the other X does well, doesn't mean anything. I've suggested trading for Trout many times and still the Jays don't listen. Don't they get that he's pretty Good?
  21. This is true for everyone, even radio hosts like I used to be, couldn't stand listening to my own voice recordings
  22. It's a pretty calculated risk, there's a far greater chance of SRF sucking or being mediocre at best than there is of him pitching well. So while he has to fork out 100$ to someone, he'll get to post about how the money means nothing to him because he's such an amazing poker player and carries fat stacks everywhere with him, somehow believing this gives him e-cred, and also get to make fun of anyone who predicts a good performance, because somewhere in his brain, he thinks because people want SRF to succeed, that means the whole world thinks SRF is a future ace except him and only the brilliant tercet can see him for what he is, when there's nothing to predicting prospect failure since the vast majority of them fail and only the very few succeed. Basically, tercet is an insufferable prick who thinks people here give a f*** about his money or his baseball "knowledge"
