    Good enough for at least the long man in the pen, but basically a fastball/chageup guy and neither is raelly a plus offering. HIs slider is still a big work in progress and definitely needs it if he wants to be a starter.

    What was the contract offer? 12/440 ? Edit, nvm, it was 15/440, average of 29.3 million per year. I dont get how anyone can turn that down.

    Espinal is the perfect guy to be hitting 8th or 9th. Generally has good PAs, sees a lot of pitches, makes the pitcher work and makes contact. Not a real power threat despite his offseason muscle gain. Legit plus D. He's turned himself into a viable MLB starter and, in the Jays favour, the kind of guy who will provide 3-4 WAR over a full season, but get paid like a scrub in arbitration since most of his value is tied to defense. But in no way should he be an All Star this season. Just... no.

    Sure, and both wouldn’t be used in in a possible high leverage situation, so…no real problem. That’s exactly where Banda and Richards should be pitching right now.

    Meh. Can still ask for a crew chief review after the 8th. Those very close plays it doesn’t really hurt all that much to lose it. I doubt they challenge that exact play if it’s was earlier in the game.

    I’d like to see the angle that has both Vlad and CHappy in it, it almost looks like a Chap was waiting for Vlad to get to the bag to release. Could be wrong tho
