  1. That's the thing though, its not these 3 catches that made him a great CF, it was the 3 and 4 star plays that he made look routine and barely above routine that made him a great CF.
  2. Pretty bad middle ground. That's pretty much pure free agent extension to a guy with 2 arb years left. A middle ground would be maybe 10/250+ with an opt out after 4 or 5 years or something like that.
  3. Well if Kiemaier, Romano and Kiermaier said it, it must be true.
  4. Cleveland was plus on every side of the ball though. Minne still sucks at D, baserunning, offsense....basically everything that isn't pitching now. Looks liek Minnesota is really trying to go on pitching alone with no clear top guy and a bunch of 2's and 3's. It could work for the reg season to a point but i see a lot of 1 run games in their future.
  5. Looking at their top prospects that are close, they have another slap hitting SS/3b and an OF in Wallner who's ceiling is compared to Joey Gallo, who the Twins also picked up via FA and hope he can somehow no longer suck.
  6. I just wonder how they plan to score runs. It's Correa and.... half a season from Buxton. Lewis' knee could implode at any time. Vasquez sucks, Polanco sucks, Kirilloff sucks, Gordon sucks, Mirands sucks. I've seen offenses suck before but this might be the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
  7. Delgado is easily the best hitter the Jays have ever produced internally thus far imo, time will tell if Vlad takes over that title. 1996-2008, never had a bad season and then in 2009 at 37 years old posted an OPS over .900 in his first hundred or so PAs with the mets, then ... his hip f***ed him out of the rest of his career and a shot at 500 HRs and the HOF.
  8. Stating objective facts shouldn't really hurt the other guys feelings, I'm sure neither of them feel like they were top shelf defenders.
  9. Yeah that's a classic case of a first timer with way too much THC. Start low, go slow and youd probably really enjoy it.
  10. I can't believe you banned the kid. LOL
  11. Given the kind of person that would die this way is someone who thinks they can fly if smoking weed...... yes. Gene pool cleaning at its finest.
  12. Try an indica strain, and try lower THC with a bit of CBD still in it. Most of those who get paranoia get it from a sativa strain that's way too strong for them.
  13. Don't discount the possibility of a trade. With the # of prospects they have they could land at least 1 pretty good starter from somewhere.
  14. How is it clear, its pointing up to jaysblue's post.
  15. Puff puff pass. Emphasis on the PASS
  16. And who could forget the first #25, the first hitting star of the Blue Jays, the first 2 HRs hit by a Blue Jay in team history in their 9-5 win over the White Sox in their first ever game in MLB, on April 7, 1977 Doug Ault! And by first hitting star I pretty much mean he was a star in their first ever game, and then pretty much sucked after that. He also killed himself in 2004.
  17. Meh, its just one game. How would it feel to be the Yankees, up 3 games to none, with the lead in the 9th, and Mariano on the mound and you lose the series, making it the first time in MLB history a team comes back from 3-0 down. Way worse than just 1 game. Also, lets not forget game 4 of the '93 series. Jays came back on Philly, in Philly, when they were down 14-9 in the 8th and put up a 6 spot to take the win 15-14 and go up 3-1 in that series. What's worse, choking a 7 run lead at home in the 5th in a wildcard series or a 5 run lead at home in the 8th in the World Series???
  18. Myabe they bring Machado back home to play SS.
  19. NO doubt. Who could forget Tilson Brito
  20. The fact that he broke his own MiLB signing, rather than any other insider is wonderful. Future reporter FTW
  21. Those aren’t real people….
  22. Good chance the corners will be playing in and he's just giving himself up. I agree he should not be prevented from trying to bunt for base hits, but with the shift being limited, the defense will be much better positioned to defend bunts since they wont be way out deep in the OF grass where he just has to get it past the pitcher. Looking at that video from last season and how many bunt hits he got, that was the vast majority of them. The time and place for sac bunting 2nd to 3rd is basically bottom of the 8th or later in a tie game at home...that situation really doesnt come up very often.
  23. Dude is projected to be paying more in penalties than the bottom 7 teams are projected to be paying in total payroll combined.
