Skinner has been solid, it's Campbell that sucks. But I think lots of their goaltending is more s***** defense giving up way too many grade A scoring opportunities rather than the goaltenders being actually terrible.

Look at their lineup this year, it's about as white as it can get. Berrios, Espinal, Vlad, Garcia and Kirk are all we have left. Lopez might need to make the bench just to help offset the whiteness. Oh and Kikuchi... does he count?

Will probably be seeing alot of Lopez, Lukes, Biggio, Horwitz, and the bubble relievers. The Jays want to put their best foot forward right from the get go and have their best 26 on the roster from day 1 so those bench roles and pen arms will be damn important. Richards is definitely on the hot seat IMO and if Pearson or one of the lefty non-roster invitees makes an impression, there's no reason not to punt Richards and go with one of them if Richards doesnt impress. Injuries of course will also happen so they want to know real quick who option 1, 2 and 3 are out of Buffalo for the pen without question.

Weirldy enough though, he's not wrong. It doesnt seem like it when you watch him, but his sprint speed is 81st percentile and he's a really good baserunner. He's just one of those guys who has absolutely no flashiness to his game and always seems like he's just another dude but he provides so much more value than the eye test can see. Is he suddenly going to hit .300 with a 150 wRC+ ? Hell no. But 110-120 is definitely achievable with solid but unspectacular D and versatility.

Yeah, since theyre playing in a stone age park without any modern equipment, all gameday can tell is is how many pitches were thrown and what the result was. Cant even tell if they are fastballs, sliders or changeups. 5 pitch inning though, 3 pitch K to Mullins, first pitch flyout, first pitch ground out.

33 pitches his first outing, probably lookingat ~45 this time out. Hopefully 3 innings. I'll be watching to see if he continues to shelve the cutter, which has been a garbage ptich for him the past few years and increase the changeup usage.
