  1. Oh that changeup to Lowe was flithy AND disgusting at the same time.
  2. Damn Springer just missed... good rip!
  3. Wind murdered that one though, it's blowing hard in from RF. Probably a HR or at least a double on a calm day. 103 MPH at 26 degrees is an .830 expected hit.
  4. LOL @ Windmill Rivera... wtf dude. He sent Espinal to be gunned by 30 feet at home
  5. Gausman done after 37 pitches. 1.2 innings, 1 hit, 1 BB, 1 unearned run, 3 K on 8 swings and misses.
  6. Rasmussen just filling the bottom of the zone with everything right now.
  7. Bo just absolutely nuked Rasmussen on that steal, then a picture perfect slide into home. Good stuff.
  8. I've been low key impressed with Bo's swing patience so far. He's been talking some pitches that he would definitely offer at normally
  9. Maybe, his splitters were graet as usual though, he was just slightly missing with the fastball so they were able to lay off it. Pitches looked normal. 95-96 fastball, 86 change and even slipped 2 sliders in there. I'd like Gausman to use that slider a bit more often, but he seems to be doing fine without my advice.
  10. Heh, Gausman wants to get all his pitches done in one inning.
  11. Looks like a pretty windy day, blowing in from RF.
  12. And there's probably a pretty good reason that he doesnt' play the OF much, he's one of the guys that was identified early on as being stuck to 1b/DH.
  13. Man, having a 2019 Springer would be sooooo great. Hell even the 2021 Springer would be fantastic.
  14. Its a home game, im sure they'll be fine. Broadcast doesnt start for another 20 mins. They're showing yesterdays game right now
  15. Game is on Sportsnet today too. nice!
  16. On 2 days rest? Call me skeptical on that possibility.

March 3: St. Louis Blues acquired forward Jakub Vrana from the Detriot Red Wings in exchange for forward Dylan McLaughlin and a 7th-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft Not a bad gamble by the Blues going forward
  18. Well there's going to be times Springer plays CF due to KK and Varsho being pinch hit for during the season so it's probably not a real sign of how they plan to use Springer regularly, plus they probably want to see Horwitz and how awful he really is in the OF at least once. I agree though, if either Varsho or KK are in the game, one of them should be in CF ahead of Springer.
  19. Yeah probably. My guess would be somehwere between 10/275 and 10/300
  20. Kirk in his first day at camp, the other guys played his walk up music as he arrived.
  21. Pop and Pearson still have minor league options remaining, so they can still be sent across the lake to start the year if Richards has a good spring and looks competant again. Richards and White are the optionless hurlers, but there's room for both of them on the active roster if they both show well. There's lots of pen options if anyone falters or gets hurt though. I really hope one of the lefties makes the Jays have some hard pen decisions ahead of them. I have little faith in Mayza as the only lefty
  22. I think they'd keep him in a long man pen role before DFA, since he's part of the starter depth as well. He'd have to be really really really bad in spring to be let go
  23. They're whiter than the pack of saltines in my pantry. This lineup is in desperate need of some lentils.
