  1. Yeah, i did misread. And you are right, I bet if you asked most fans they would think the called strike accuracy would be above 90 for sure, though it does make sense that the strike calling is lower than the ball calling.
  2. No. He called 136 of 144 correctly, the average would be 132.8 (133) out of 144. average ump correct calls on all pitches is somewhere between 92 and 93%, last nights ump was 94.4%.
  3. No doubt. It takes like 4 or 5 months for DRS to be even remotely useful, and even then ...
  4. I like that anyone goes after racists hard... but with Stroman, just say something negative about his start or something and you're suddenly a racist.
  5. Brady Ware of the DII University of Indianapolis Greyhounds, had the kind of day that only feels achievable if you’re playing as Shohei Ohtani in MLB The Show, by hitting for the cycle while throwing a no hitter. The graduate student finished with the cycle, going 4-for-4 at the plate with two runs and five RBIs … while striking out 11 batters across seven hitless innings against Drury University in Game 2 of a doubleheader.
  6. Dana Brown was the drafting wizard for AA in Atlanta
  7. Only 4 levels of minor league ball now so would be really hard for a new city and location to grab a team. The vast majority of existing affiliates in minor league ball have been around a very long time and already have everything in place.
  8. 1-0 game in Coors Field today for just the 11th time since their inception.
  9. Shows what you know, a Canadian actually won one of the shot put events at the 1996 Paralympics.
  10. Could be also. Lets just hope it is one of those and not a real arm problem.
  11. Meh, seemed right. It was cold, had just given up back to back hits, his fastball velo was 88 mph (last year avg was 95) and they were up 6 runs. Was as good a time as any. Hopefully the velo thing was just a factor from the cold
  12. Dont say that. The Rays would take him, teach him a curveball in 5 minutes and make him their next unhittable starter.
  13. LMAO That's just bad. 1 and 2 both called strikes, basically forcing Bo to swing at anything near the other batters box
  14. Paul Molitor, Dave Winfield, Roger Clemens, JA Happ
  15. If a dumb baserunning Vlad is a 40+ HR hitting Vlad.... i'll deal with it. I'd rather have to reign a guy in than have to push him.
  16. Youre right, and its no so much that he's getting wood on the baseball and just hasnt found the holes, he's swinging and missing regularly at 88-90 mph cookies. That's the concerning part.
  17. Wasnt the worst call we've seen this season. Could have gone either way
  18. Weird. Manoah was down yesterday to but like 1 mph, so nothing super concerning Either way Gausman is still getting it done.
  19. Just me or is Gausman's 4 seam velo WAAAAAy down?
  20. Belt check swing on 91 middle middle…dude is messed up right now
  21. Kirk is dogshit right now, he doesn’t usually swing at that trash
  22. CHappy got f***ed that’s for sure. Could have been at least a 2 run double and possibly a 3 run Jack, but of course JBJ runs it down
  23. Meant to say he fouled off the rest of the strikes. Typo
  24.
