  1. Seems that 2nd throw over was a pretty big mistake
  2. I doubt there were many teams out there looking to pay a kings ransom for him, regardless of his bat to ball and catching skills. He's probably 50+ pounds overwight at 5'8" tall. That's never going to age well.
  3. I mean, IF there's a guy to throw near to send a message, it's a guy named Franchy.
  4. FFS kirk... Good thing alek bailed him out.
  5. I wouldnt mind himn buzzing the tower on the 8 or 9 hitter just to send the message, but yeah, intentionally hitting someone is never really the right call.
  6. Not after getting hit by 98 mph on the wrist
  7. Manoah gonna hit someone now for sure even though theres no way that was intentional
  8. Shiit. Espinal is gone for a while. That got him in a bad place
  9. Gotta give Cole some credit here too, he's not throwing meatballs. These are 96+ on the edges
  10. Some guys just out there thinking Cole is going to be throwin offspeed all night. He throws heat, get ready for it and let er buck.
  11. This is the slider Manoah needs. Filthy
  12. 32% line drive rate, they just arent falling in. That was a bad PA though... watch the strikes, swing at the balls...
  13. 2 very bad PAs in a row there by Chappy and Varsho...
  14. FFS, Chappy gone passive all of a sudden the last few games
  15. Yeah, timing just a tad off, like he's waiting that extra split second to recognize the pitch. Give him a bit of rope of course, he's seeing a lot of these pitchers for the 1st or 2nd time ever. I might consider moving him down the order more to take some pressure off. Seems like he's always up there with RISP and 2 outs.
  16. I've come to the realization that the strike zone we see on TV is definitely not quite where the real StatCast zone is. All of those pitches that we see very clearly outside the TV zone are usually on the edge in some way. But then sometimes they just f*** it up like with the Belt call. He also was very clearly unable to call that one part of the zone properly. Those calls are all well within the zone.
  17. April 22 Double points Saturday Vladdy - 2 Point - Stangstag Bichette - 2 Point - jaysblue Chapman - 2 Point - Varsho - 4 Points - Springer - 4 Points - Belt - 6 Points - Jonn Kirk - 6 Points - JaysAllMighty Merrifield - 10 Points - Espinal - 12 Points - Off the bench: 20 Points - JohnHavok
  18. True. Baltimore will tail off soon when their hitting goes into a slump, their pitching is awful.
  19. Yeah it’s just his last 6 games. 7 for 20 with 2 walks, 6 K. The 4 games prior to that thought…0-16 with 11 Ks and just 1 walk. He was some kinda messed up in that stretch.
  20. Nah, just leave in Richards and have him “lose” a changeup into Judges thigh. No need to go up and in and possibly hurt a guy for something that was clearly unintentional. That guy has s*** command
  21. Wasn’t intentional…but I can understand why Vlad is pissed and might think it could have been.
  22. Ump show to the rescue of the Yankees, Biggio should have been on 1b
  23. Belt making up for lost time. Should have been caught honestly, but still nice to see that hard contact
