    CHappy hit it 7 mph harder, and 1 degree lower launch angle, went less distance for a fly out.xba of .510 That doesn’t compute. Wind must be blowing in from RF?

    Xba on that Hr was .090 Might be the first HR directly a result of the new dimensions. Was only 357 feet and went off the bat at 92.8. For reference, that lazy fly that Varsho had to charge in on and dive for went off the bat at 92.3.

    Tampa does this thing where they just rotate their pen arms so heavily throughout the seasons that no team gets to see them more than once or twice, hitters always wondering what the guys stuff looks like

    Can’t pin that on Bo, he called it right away. IF fly so no biggie but Merrifield was on the wrong there for sure

    The location wasn’t the problem, Kikuchis problems are than his change and slider don’t have enough velo separation from his fastball. For some reason this season kikuchis is 2-3 mph harder on both of those pitches on average and they aren’t getting their usual action

    It’s my understanding the do get kicked out if they reach on to the field of play and interfere with a live ball. That guy earlier in the game the ball was already going over but that last one by Bo,…yeah that fan should be gone

    That doesn’t answer my question though Rasmussen vs Belt seems like a better matchup than Poche vs 3 rhb. It’s not like it’s even a question they were going to pinch hit for Belt against a lefty, it was a guarantee

    Richards…this seems ill advised also. He’s the kind of predictable pitcher the Rays can smack around

    I really question the move to go to Poche. The way Belt has been sucking, wouldn’t you rather have Rasmussen facing Belt vs Poche facing a guaranteed RH pinch hitter and then possibly 2 more RHB ?

    I think it would depend on the situation and the timing of when the runner took off. If he was clearly well,on the way down the line…agreed. If it was like him just taking off when the timer hit zero…I don’t see how you’d be able to award the base if you have to call the play dead due to a violation. It generates an interesting scenario where if a runner really catches the pitcher napping and gets a massive jump but the timer is at like…2… the pitcher could just hold the ball to get annintentional violation and negate the stolen base.
