    They just beat a s***** AAA pitcher, not like the result was ever in doubt. I don't think i've ever seen a softer schedule to open a season ever. Through May 4th from the start of the season they will only have faced 2 teams that aren't bottom dwelling nobodies or at best a .500 team (Boston) We'll find out more about Tampa in May when they go up against the Yankees, Orioles, Yankees, Mets, Brewers, Blue Jays and Dodgers in consecutive series. They'll have a cushion built up of course from steamrolling the dumpster fires up till then, but their record in May will be far more accurate as to how good they really are.

    The one game i saw at Rogers center a few years ago I sat in those TD zone seats with the wife. Those were very good seats I must say, I was just to the 3B side.

    Those reserved areas... lots of times its company big wigs booking them to do nothing but talk business and schmooze clients, they could give 2 rat shits about the game, it's just a way to write off your expenses.

    Both can be problems if left unchecked. BAsically as it stands now, the super rich teams are paying other teams money to simply not compete against them.

No sir, tickets in that area are for people who can actually afford to be here. We call them our "people who actually succeed in life" tickets. Anything else I can help with?

    Sure, but my point is that despite being atrocious at everything related to running a baseball team, they are making money for their ******** owner because of the revenue sharing in place from all the teams that actually give a f***. Seriously, their attendance is garbage year after year and the owner is still pocketing 10s of millions in profits. With the way the revenue sharing works, there's literally no incentive for teams like theirs to even try fielding competitive teams. Their attendance this season would be 250,000 total, and theyd still makes 10s of millions in profits. It's a joke that MLB needs to do something about real f***ing fast, or youll see other orgs do the exact same thing. People whine that the Mets owner is bad for the game by spending? f*** no. The guys ruining baseball are the all the gusy spending 50 million or less on payrolls while rolling in revenue sharing cash.

    To be fair, that sequence from Abreu was about as perfect as it could be. Two painted low strikes and a disgusting slider that followed the exact Sam tunnel as the first two for a swing and miss. That’s how they write up perfection in the relievers handbook
