  1. June 20 (1:07pm start) Bichette - 1 Point - Vladdy - 1 Point - Springer - 2 Points - Spanky, Omar Chapman - 3 Points - Johnhavok Kirk - 5 Points - Merrifield - 6 Points - JaysAllMighty, WryNGinger Espinal - 7 Points - Kiermaier - 7 Points - Luplow - 8 Points - mphenhef Off the bench: 10 Points - Jonn
  2. Vlad just needs to stop thinking, it's not his strong suit. To me, it looks like he's trying to think along with the pitcher instead of just being ready to swing at strikes. I have no idea if this is true, but it sure looks that way
  3. Darvish sweating like a pig and not even out of the 1st inning. So out of shape...
  4. Dman, nice pitch. Cant blame him for taking that. It caught the strike zone, please remember the upper part of the TV strike zone is terrible
  5. lets go Belt, make it hurt early!
  6. Genesis Cabrera (LH reliever) waived by the Cardinals. Worth taking a gamble or no? Roster Resource says he has 1 option year left which might be this season of course and still has multiple years of control left.
  7. Yeah pretty much this. OPS over 1.000 against lefties at Buffalo. Not like he's going to play everyday or anything. I dont think I'd call up Schneider to benchwarm.
  8. June 19 Bichette - 1 Point - Vladdy - 1 Point - Springer - 2 Points - Belt - 2 Points - JohnHavok Chapman - 3 Points - Jansen - 3 Points - mphenhef Varsho - 4 Points - JaysAllMighty Merrifield - 6 Points - Kiermaier - 7 Points - Off the bench: 10 Points -
  9. Luplow had his contract selected, Cimber to the 60 Day IL. Luplow been hitting lefties well at Buffalo with an OPS over 1.000.
  10. Luplow contract selected, Cimber to 60 day IL
  11. Jays signed undrafted free agent lefty pitcher JJ Sanchez
  12. What you said is true, but he also missed very few bats. 6 whiffs on 40 swings. Command was bad. One can argue he deserved better based on the shite luck you pointed out, but there no real way to argue that he pitched well either.
  13. Tyler Megill really stunk for the Mets. 8 ER over two innings without a strikeout, walked 1 and gave up two jacks.
  14. Threw 66 pitches last time out so, if all they wanted was 75 ish from him, he could likely go this week. Probably want at least 90 though so I’m guessing 2 more rehab outings?
  15. Josh Donaldson with a possible season ending calf strain. "New York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson may miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with a possible Grade 3 strain to his right calf, according to what he told reporters on Monday. Donaldson suffered the injury on Saturday while running out a ground ball."
  16. Might want to edit that last part out Jonn or someone might think you are picking Belt rather than Jansen
  17. Skenes signed by Pittsburgh for 9.2 million draft bonus. Slot for #1 was 9.72 million Also more than any current Pirate is making this season.
  18. Yimi Garcia believes he was tipping pitches earlier in the season, made a change and now seems to be getting better results. from sportsnet.. Over the last four weeks Yimi Garcia has quietly re-established himself as a reliable and dominant leverage reliever for the Toronto Blue Jays, not allowing a run in his past 11 appearances, giving up just six hits and a walk with 10 strikeouts during that span. Contrast that against his uncharacteristic start to the year, when he took damage in 12 of his first 31 outings en route to a 5.83 earned-run average and .846 OPS against, with the chatter about him focused on pitch location and selection as potential issues. The difference between then and now? “Well, to be honest with you, I think it was more like maybe I was tipping something than command because most of the time I was making very, very good pitches and they still were making good contact,” Garcia said through interpreter Hector Lebron. “I think it was more like tipping than command.” While Garcia didn’t want to get into details, he admitted that “we made some changes on the glove position. Sometimes I had it one way, sometimes for some pitches another way. So we made some changes.”
  19. July 18 Bichette - 1 Point - Vladdy - 1 Point - LTBF Springer - 2 Points - Dylan, JaysAllMighty Belt - 2 Points - JohnHavok Chapman - 3 Points - Jansen - 3 Points - Varsho - 4 Points - WryNGinger, Merrifield - 6 Points - wilko Kiermaier - 7 Points - Off the bench: 10 Points - Changing pick to Belt, just because.
  20. Just checking the savant page for what they have for jumps. It's pretty cool how they break it down to reaction, burst and route. He scores slightly above average in route, well below average in reaction and burst. It's also pretty small margins they are dealing with overall. The difference in "jump" from Kiermaier to Walker is about 7 feet in the first 3 seconds.
  21. I think they're trying to equate trading Conner Bedard and Shohei Ohtani somehow.
