  1. I dunno. His 100 PA thecyear before ( yes...SSS) was pretty much identical statcast wise to 2025. Also gotta remember he's playing his home games in a AAA incredible hitters park that will inflate offense. Home away splits are massively different. I could be wrong as he has just 1 full season of PAs, just saying there's real reason to be skeptical Good for him to get his bag.
  2. You may want to look at his savant page again.
  3. Tidy contract for an Arraez clone at SS.
  4. Hope you went incognito on the asian porn sites.
  5. Mine is just a specific browser app with a built-in ad blocker that works exceptionally well. Desktop and mobile and works like a charm.
  6. Yup. He forgot to tell him to shine it up real nice first. Fake fan of the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment.
  7. Of course not, thats what ad blockers are for. Best suicide prevention tool since banning grant I will allow them here though going forward
  8. The amount of ads I see when im not using a blocker (not just here) makes me want to hang myself.
  9. That how i feel, for some reason people are getting hung up on the counting stat totals. 1500 hits, less than 160 HRs... It's like they forgot he was a catcher or something maybe??
  10. Hearing a lot of talking heads saying Posey is a slam dunk 1st ballot Hall of Fame inductee next year Others say hes not even close. Thoughts?
  11. Shut up or i'll club you on the ball diamond. (just needed to work both of the other suits in...)
  12. The pressure from the PA on elite players to earn as much as humanly possible is real. One really only needs to look at the history of baseball ownership groups to understand why. Yes, from a personal perspective... 100 million... 200 million.... that doesnt make a real difference in quality of life for any individual player or family, either way you are set for life, your family is set for life, your family's kids, their kids and their kids are set for life... at least assuming money still exists as we know it after WW3 in a few years.
  13. What ya nean there's no FA CFs next year? Varsho will be available
  14. Reminds of that Irish gay couple, Patrick Fitzgerald and Gerald Fitzpatrick.
  15. They really counting on a lot of bounce-backs on the offensive side for sure. 25th in wrc+ last season. Seager was really the lone bright spot. Langford might take a step forward, but he has to get that K rate under control.
  16. Are any other of the ST invitees from Venezuela? That might be a weird X factor right now
  17. Who, on the starting 9, is Donovan better than on the current roster?
  18. Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say...but nothing comes out when they move their lips, just a bunch of gibberish, the mutha f***as act like the forgot about Trey.
  19. i hate, though understand, why Fangraphs limits free article viewing now. But mostly hate it.
  20. Just a guess on my part but I think they probably asked for the chance to match any offers he received and declined to do so given what he got from the Mets. If I was truly guessing... I think he he got his wanted amount and years from Philly, Jays were thinking about maychung when Cohen swooped in and decided to go crazy giving him a panic offer he couldn't refuse and the Jays rightly balked instantly. Pure speculation on my part with no real evidence to back it up, but I just feel like the Jays absolutely would have brought him back at the # the Phillies offered. I could also see Bo opting out of he has even a half decent season and goes back to FA next year in a weak class after the Mets collapse yet again and miss the playoffs.
  21. I dont think Santander was a dumb or desperation move at all. They got a guy who averaged 30+ HRs over the previous 3 years for CBT hit of 13.7m. Injury killed him last year. s*** happens.
  22. Have you tried going lefty for a month or so? Give the right side a break
  23. Borucki to the White Sox on a minor league deal
  24. There are a few grievances right now from the PA against some owners, which is probably why some of the typically lower spending trams have dropped some cash on signings this offseason. And with the obvious lockout coming up, it never hurts to get public opinion on the owner's side. A few ridiculous overspends by teams that can do it always sends the casuals in to a frenzy of "why do these players think theyre worth so much"
  25. Realistically the last thing that needs to fall into place for the Jays to truly be on par with the elite organizations is their prospect and player development being more consistent. Even as it stands now its getting better, but its not at the point where youd be confident saying "yes, when the Jays draft this kind of player, he will turn out to be at least a major league regular" Some success stories for sure lately, and their strength seems to be plucking guys from other orgs that haven't broken through and getting them to the next level, so that definitely helps offset it.
