    I doubt that very much. He may have underperformed last year, but he's way over performing this year. K rate higher, walk rate lower, ISO up by 20 points, SLG up by about 100. I'm just saying his hot start is not some new normal. He's a really good defensive SS having a good few months. We saw Gimenez so the same just last year before falling back to his "normal" Granted, Otto's offensive normal is probably higher than Gimenez's

    He's in High A ball... Trey pitched at both AA and AAA before coming up. Surely you're not advocating for calling up Perry straight from A+ ball in a season where he's fresh off of UCL surgery recovery and definitely going to be on a hard innings/pitch cap before being shut down.

    xwOBA roughly the same as last year. he's a 2 WAR SS currently riding the babip dragon. Regression is near. Same as Espinal's hot start all those years back that fueled him undeservedly to the AS game

    Must be something they feel is going to clear up on the shorter side of time frames or it makes no sense to not put him on the 10 day retroactive to the 25th. Playing a man down 1-3 games isn't a massive deal but beyond that is kinda dumb. My fake foresight says he probably sits out the Miami series and is back against Baltimore.
