  1. Green, Hicks, Romano is a pretty nailz back end of a pen.
  2. Probably also just giving Green that extra few tosses to get ready.
  3. It’s anecdotal of course but, when he makes the exact same basic baserunning errors repeatedly, there’s only 2 real scenarios. Either he’s being instructed properly and keeps making the mistakes anyways…which would indicate he’s uncoachable…or he’s not being instructed at all. I find it hard to believe it’s the latter. Now, there could be a sit auction where the term uncoachable means one thing to one person and one thing to another. Some take it as a guy who refuses to listen to coaches because he thinks he knows better, others see it as someone who absolutely listens but then forgets anything because he’s a bone head. I don’t think it’s the former in Vlads case.
  4. I think analyzing how a manager managed 25 - 30 years ago is never going to make sense, so…why bother? How and why games are managed the way they are is different. Cito had his pluses and minuses like every other manager
  5. 2nd arb year coming up he’s a Super 2
  6. Maybe at the plate. On the bases he still the single dumbest baserunner by far on the team.
  7. Today, the Blue Jays pulled a Homer. For the non-Simpson watchers out there, pulling a Homer is defined as succeeding despite idiocy.
  8. Wtf is going on with Ohtani and the Angels? Apparently his locker has been cleaned out and he's not with the team
  9. Not sure what you mean. Hurl’s 20 year streak is very well known
  10. What’s Hicks here for if not to hold a lead late in a game? Hasn’t pitched much lately so get him in there
  11. They're just a sideshow.
  12. Definitely winning tonight then. Hurl's 15 year streak is unbreakable.
  13. 65% called strike accuracy folks. 65%
  14. It was worse than that. Absolute joke
  15. Chapman is gone. Can't replace him. But what we can do is recreate him in the aggregate.
  16. Yep. But he has to have a better idea of the situation. Wild pitcher plus bases loaded. Shouldn’t equal happy happy swing time on anything close. Like I said I give him a break on the first splitter as it was legit nasty and looked like a centre cut fastball until it wasn’t. Just the last one ended up so far out of the zone, was another splitter and therefore had to have started off the plate, so….he’s gotta be able to lay off that one.
  17. The amount of clear strike 3s not being called for the Jays pitching in this series is f***ing atrocious.
  18. Feels like when a guy is wild like Eovaldi was that inning, Bo should be taking until strike 2, unless it’s a fat cookie down the middle like the foul was. Easier said than done of course
  19. Unfortunately Bo decided to swing at balls 2 and 3. Can give him a break on the first one as it was nasty but that third one started so far outside it should have been an easy take.
  20. It's likely AA would have started the rebuild the same way he did the first time. That part was fine
  21. No s***. Besides we all know connorp is the resident narcissistic sociopath. Can't have more than 1
  22. Well, see y’all tomorrow. Can’t watch this garbage.
  23. 3-1 count…swings at borderline pitch up and away, 4 seam fastball straight as an arrow for some f***ing reason. Can fix his swing all you want if he keeps swinging at trash like that it won’t matter
  24. Just amazing what happens when umps screw up and don’t call strike 3 on Seager
