    He's been well above average when not injured this season (.280/.371/.493) and average overall. He's also already had 2 seasons well in excess of a 3 WAR pace. Closer to 4 in both, actually. The position change and injuries have led to a rough start this season, but he's still the same player we saw in 2019 and 2020. A bad April hasn't changed his entire career outlook. That take is pretty ridiculous in my opinion.
