    I think JP is capable of something like .240/.280/.450 .. that's prob not too far off from league average for C.. if he keeps up the + framing and gets a little better and some of the other stuff.. he could be a serviceable rotation kind of C. Possibly DH on some days with a LHP (though I dont know his splits). Kind of a meh player of course.. but better than worst in league

    I might take JJ on the arb deal over Kuroda 1/20. Kuroda is at an age where falling off a cliff wouldnt be unheard of. That said I would sign him.. but would prob prefer JJ at 1/14

    Yeah depends what that is of course but if Stroman isnt one of the "+" 's, I'm not too worried about it.

    Why? If Jays can get him on a good deal..... they can only hope in a few years that Sanchez establishes himself as having the floor of a very good mid-rotation guy with the ability to be a fonrt-end one. It would actually be a hard deal to lose unless you really thought Sanchez was a cant miss ace

    Yeah I really think people on here underestimate him. Barring injury his floor seems to be solid mid-rotation guy..but with legit front-line potential. If jays can get him on an extension, even one more year plus option even.. I would do Sanchez + in a millisecond

    Just speculating.. but I bet the Yanks will go to 8/200.. which I dont think is a bad deal for him.. he should bring back the value even if its frontloaded.. some team will therefore prob have to give him and extra $30 or $40m.. I cant see SEA doing it though... maybe

    It was more about his versatility than a negotiation thing I think. But in the process they did pick up insurance, giving them some leverage

    Dogg has been saying how he's a college guy now. He prob thought his life would change but now he's back to his isolated psychotic self. I will keep an eye on Yahoo for Candian college campus shootings

    I'm one of the few that thinks Samar would count as one. Like his upside like an Anibal. Not sure what he's making with arb now buy maybe there's a chance to extend him past 1st year of FA, with option maybe.

    wow.. Steamer doesnt believe in Rendon.. has him playing a whole season but only a .003 bump in wOBA give me the over for a nice chunk of money on that.

    Also Rendon was my favorite prospect after he got drafted but then he fell off the map a bit when the injury concerns from draft day started looking legit.

    If JE goes to NY, I will bet the first respectable board member that wants to $100 he finishes Top 5 in MVP vote. Pitchers wouldnt count though. Top 5 position players

    I was lazy and only did part 2..but guessed 7/154 I think as I knew boras wouldnt settle on Crawford's 7/140 from a few years ago. Fig'd would be slightly more.. ..anyways, f***. Ellsbury is one of my favorite players. Was hoping he would go somewhere besides BOS or NYY

    Yeah. I wouldnt give SEA what they probably wanted.. But just strickly on the player..ackley would be nice upgrade
