I’m glad you’re flattered, Max. It’s well known you’re the President of the Homer club here. I didn’t invent the wheel here. I think your name is used by many as more of a personification though. The “Max’s” or “dudes like Max”.. that sort of thing. People just immediately understand the point being made. -
Eloy Jimenez is another one of those dudes…worst player in fantasy baseball to ever own.. between injury and subpar performance, expecting those red lines to mean something. I did just check Andrew Vaughn, who used to have a lot of red while a .750 OPS guy and you thought breakout, at least it’s now all blue where it should be

He actually didn’t say what you think he did, dipshit. Park factor didn’t include road stats. So you couldn’t say maybe the Jays are just s***** hitters. An algorithm is just going to look at the scoring and not take into account most of what I said. Edit: well this was in ref to wRC+ for hitters, but I imagine same applies on team level

Again, kind of the same thing as 23… you need to look at the Jays park factor. Then conclude if it’s the park itself, or is it maybe the good pitching they’ve gotten with good defense behind it, and the s*** offense of the Jays that’s hitting, which bring down the scoring. Based on historical data, and even considering the fence adjusts…a ++ hitters park isn’t going to become a pitchers park for some fence adjusts

Yeah. Those guys are ones to gamble on. If he hits the ground running again, or if gets it going, he’ll likely never be available outside of some ridiculous package. That said, I’m not buying, doesn’t have the ideal build. Neither does Mookie but there’s always outliers

I get excited pretty easy. Like Max when the Bluejays score 8 runs one day and think the sun is shining bright as can be. Then I realize I’m not there yet. Or did anyways with those squads. They were coming

Going back 8 years, lot of opps for Det early in the draft. Starting from like Matt Manning 9th in 2016x No sense tanking, Two #1 overall that essentially whiffed. Jobe we’ll see, not a Max Clark guy either
