They encourage that here to change it up every once in an awhile. Seems there was some big news even yesterday. I can almost hear the sound of Jim fapping thousands of miles away. Sort of like a Jays sweep though. Season isn’t ending how he’d like.

Interesting he got as far as he did. Numbers coming up through the ranks were kind of meh. Guess maybe he was one of those trash cans they throw out like we something and he did good. He made a couple million this year. He can still say he’s having some family/wife problems and get a second chance for that

There’s 3 scenarios: 1) You try stuff and it works 2) You try stuff and it doesn’t work 3) You don’t even attempt to try I think due to last seasons tank job to end it, it’s completely warranted to object to #3, as many were even pre-season. If someone simply wants to throw out examples, more power to them. That’s what you get for doing #3 and getting a last place team.

He sucks because he made a dramatic overreaction to why the 2022 ended early, and then refused to hedge any bets to the teams clear failure in 2023. Didn’t even attempt it. Said “play it back”. Also not taking into account the possible volatility of his RP. Now you’re just grasping at straws whining when people are just saying, he should’ve sign this perso, or that person. That’s what happens when you fail. Questions start coming up. I know certain people really struggle with accountability.

I mean, someone simply mentioned Joey Bart. This person made the mistake of thinking it wouldnt be taken as “Jays should’ve signed Bart”. I think he just meant as an example of a high reward/low risk for offense. Going into the season, it stands to reason that wouldn’t be a position Jays would look at, vs IF/OF where they should’ve

The last week of ST, there was an article about 5 former top prospects on the verge of being DFA’d, Adell and Bart being 2 of them. I mean ok on the hindsight 20/20 stuff, but can you not comment at that time and be like “this player would be a good target”…O’Neil was actually discussed a lot last year. Profar a little bit as an option out there. They were all valid plays to say maybe they shouldve gone after such a such. As I’ve gone back to a bunch of times, they didn’t go after anyone, never mentioned it was something they were looking at, they bet on the team and lost. That’s not speculation, it’s fact right now. So it’s fair to speculate what could’ve been done better. Sorry you don’t like it.

Well for at least the 5th year in a row, Jays are a disappointment and this time so bad, they may not make the playoffs. Farm is bare. Future looks s*****. I’m sorry you get offended when people second guess these last few years and say they should’ve done that or this. Come to think of, maybe they chose just completely do away with sports radio, all the ESPNs of the world, NFL/NBA Gamedays. We should just not speculate on what any team could’ve done better. You’re being obtuse. Likely not intentionally. He didn’t try or make any offensive upgrades. It’s not about hindsight 20/20 on a certain player that’s going good. He doubled down. Replaced one of the more reliable bats last year with a 40yo and did nothing to hedge against that, or the reasoning for the 2023 terrible finish on offense and quick playoff exit. He doubled down. That’s it. Offense was clearly not on his mind, I’m not aware of him even saying it was something they were looking for and maybe it didn’t come to fruition. He bet on this offense and he’s clearly lost..

Dynasty leagues I don’t regret leaving bc of the changes from the when they were board leagues, etc but it was a little bitchy leaving the redraft, admittedly as that was never about board guys talking smack, etc As a mea culpa, I’m going to do a redraft Yahoo maybe on Sat 6/1 with 1pt EST draft time. 12 team, 5x5 H2H standard. Scoring starts 6/3. $100 buy in. $600 winner, $360 second, $140 third. If one of the following is interested in me buying them a team and they keep whatever, lmk. Maybe because he’s such a Lib, but also bc he comes off as such a pretentious bitch, I’m not a Mark Cuban fan. Doncic is really great to watch, playing wise, but he’s also such a whiny baby too. I didn’t watch this last game, but just in general. At least LBJ is an all time great. Play a few more years before you need to stop playing to cry to the refs.
