  1. That’s why I pass, yes. Can’t handle it. Paranoia consumes me
  2. Well they’d jump off balconies trying to escape from the massive panic attack they’re having. The newbs. That’s what happens to me if I smoke
  3. For anyone that stopped, there’s someone that vapes
  4. Athletes and coaches always say the heart breaking ones are the close ones. Many fans hold the same view. A blowout you were just plain outplayed, that’s it. Easier to swallow as player or fan
  5. I saw a Pittsburg newspaper called for his signing. I didn’t Google to see if it was a major one, looked it. Good to have a paper on your side. That would be a good spot for him. Blue collar city, nobody goes to see them play anyway
  6. So he’s projected for like a .710 OPS and that’s 110 wRC+? Mlb better juice up the ball a bit
  7. Simply an observation. You’re doing gymnastics now. Someone put some effort into it is all
  8. Maybe not, but someone hand picked the people to get their preferred diversity ratio. So that counts for something
  9. Yeah, doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy that would have the passion to keep playing at the level he is, considering the 9-figure bank account.
  10. BTS needs to post the “2/10- would not bang” meme
  11. It’s really not true/fair. We’re all just looking at it as normal people. You can’t be expected to be feeling the fan thing every day of your life. I can totally see how someone could find it annoying and just tune it out. When you go to the stadium, how many players just ignore the kids screaming for autographs.

Tried to be Tampa fan this year but they really sucked most of the time. Can’t run for s***. Patchwork o-line. Really inconsistent D. I think Brady goes to Vegas for a last hurrah

Lucky for this kicker the game isn’t going to likely come down to a kick. Dude is probably f***ed in the head at this point

This guy is probably so rich it doesn’t matter (well idk why he’d be trying to win 11k though) But that’s pretty crazy. Seems legit https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bettor-lost-1-4-million-194350547.html
  15. Yes.I’m done with it.
  16. You’re the perfect combination of woke and having the inability to think critically. Nothing I said was racist. I was referring to a subset of African Americans only. I shared some very alarming stats about pro athletes that run in the wrong circles, which can lead to some really sketchy investments and poor money management. If I called a bunch of South Boston wanna be white boys thugs, you’d understand I wasn’t talking about all white people. Same if I talked about people at a Trump rally being a bunch of rednecks, or a Phish concert a bunch of deadhead stoners. Or referred to a white person or group as “white trash”, you wouldn’t think I meant all white people. Your wild leap that calling some black people thugs means you think they’re all thugs is in your white knight head only. I don’t think that. I’ve been around many a good black families in sports and appreciate all the black people that go on to be much more successful than me. That doesn’t mean you can’t call a spade a spade. When you read about some guy that got in a violent altercation with a cop and it goes south, you see it for what it is, rather than think we’re a racist country. At least non woke people anyway. Eastern and Western Asians and Middle Eastern people are absolutely killing it here in academics and moving on the great careers. So get out of here with your CRT I won’t spam any more than that but I don’t like being called a racist when it’s not true. Your kind just changed the definition of racism.
  17. It’s simply a small subset of African Americans and doesn’t apply to all people with black skin. Don’t be so sensitive. Many of those NBA guys came up through challenging backgrounds and were exposed to the rap culture meaning of success and what you do when you get there I think 80% of NFL players are bankrupt or in dire straights 2 years after retirement. 65% of NBA players within 5 years. Some is bad investments I’m sure but also living a certain lifestyle contributes to it. Regardless, they still find the time and effort to play their respective sports. It’s what they love and what they know
  18. Jimc is the only white knight I’ll engage with.
  19. The Padres are said to be out of the running. Good for the Dodgers I guess
  20. They have at least 3 prospects knocking on the door. They’ll be fine. They’ll also sign someone now that TB is off the payroll
  21. Idk. His whole life has been baseball from before he could hold a bat. It’s what he knows. It’s like NBA players, you’d think they’d get their money and thug out, but they love playing basketball. It’s what they know
  22. Vlad is smelling the mega deal by now. He’s working. What he weighs is kind of debatable in terms of what it’ll do.
  23. Let’s see if there’s some hot stove gossip. I imagine any teams will keep it on the DL though
  24. I feel like Tatis wasn’t valued as a Top 5 player there. Maybe that’s fair idk.
