Yeah, hearing it complete, it seems good for the game. Gets rid of throws over just for “You just got on base and I know you can steal, so I’ll toss it to 1st so you know I know”. Definitely should see some more action on the bases

The “missing something” is there’s no way they’re just going to let a runner jog to second base because there were two disengagements. I mean, as soon as the 1b throws it back to the pitcher, you’d go.

I think the one year is for his security in case he gets/stays injured. If he’s looking good, Jays get him at 2/21. And the middle is 3/27
