  1. Yeah, hearing it complete, it seems good for the game. Gets rid of throws over just for “You just got on base and I know you can steal, so I’ll toss it to 1st so you know I know”. Definitely should see some more action on the bases
  2. That would honestly negate the purpose as it would lead to more pitching changes late in the game especially,
  3. The “missing something” is there’s no way they’re just going to let a runner jog to second base because there were two disengagements. I mean, as soon as the 1b throws it back to the pitcher, you’d go.
  4. What’s the rule anyway? How many throws to 1st? And after the last one, the runner gets to lead X amount I guess?

I’d wager there’s probably a clause in there that allows him to “freeze” the tv deal to return to football. It would be good exposure for the network really. He’s prob done though. Sucks as a fan:(
  6. A lot of his money come from back home though I’d assume. It’s like Yao Ming. Guy was actually overall a disappointment due to injuries but one of the richest players from off the court stuff. Still is
  7. We traded him for something early then. I remember him being with Phillies and we dealt him there. I’m not using the benefit of Google
  8. Ah wait. Came up through Jays. Coming back
  9. Jesus. Don’t remember that either
  10. It just speaks to the challenges. People are like “baseball doesn’t market Mike Trout” etc but there really isn’t much of an appetite for it
  11. Ortiz only kinda counts as PED. It’s murky Petite is same as Clemens
  12. Come on, man. Really? I think it should be folded lol

I mean, 10/375 isn’t too shabby I guess for tv

Ugh. I hoped for a last swan song on a better team.
  15. He probably signed like a 12 year deal worth the same amount as 1yr for the average NBA player
  16. My mind isn’t working great. The fiance search is hitting all sorts of snags. I always want what I can’t have and don’t want what I have
  17. Yeah, I’d imagine they wanted to make sure his elbow was at X place in the rehab process.. and anything else they may see that would cause red flag
  18. Listen I can appreciate you get nervous when I’m around because you’re used to being the smartest guy in the room, but no need for name calling
  19. It’s ambiguous and if you’re a frequent reader, as I am since I don’t watch tv, you’d know online stuff is always filled with typos and things that don’t compute. So many times you have to bridge a gap. Sometimes you jump the gun
  20. I mean that’s what it says. But I still think my way of reading makes more sense. Idk Edit: ok I’m coming around to the other view
  21. I think the one year is for his security in case he gets/stays injured. If he’s looking good, Jays get him at 2/21. And the middle is 3/27
  22. So 3/27 is a mutual option? How can it be a Jay option if he can decline lol. If he’s healthy he’ll definitely decline you’d think and it’ll be the 2/21. Nice signing. I wouldn’t call him one of the best RP is baseball but he’s someone you can trust

We agree on something. s***** ass teammate. It would be one thing if Ossai was like Lebron getting a foul called on him that he didn’t agree with, but he wasn’t. He knew he f***ed up, everyone in the stadium and watching tv knew he f***ed up. No reason to call him out
  24. Is that Rueben Sierra? I didn’t remember he was a Jay. My dark fan years apparently
