I’m not looking at the nerd stats like barrel rate but from the eye test, it didn’t seem like teams made a lot of hard contact. More than anything, when his control struggled, he was off. It’s reasonable to hope for the K rate to go up. I’m not sure he’ll repeat that ERA but I wouldn’t bet against under 3. I wouldn’t bet it either but still -
Why would they have basically Marlins trim? That is indeed very bad.

Yet teams started to get away from it. Clearly. Could’ve been something discussed that’s not spelled out in the CBA. So why not root for that instead of getting joy from knowing how smart you are, and how stupid teams are.

As a reference, Fantrax has the P both around 130. Tork at 160. I didn’t scroll past 300 to find Kirk. I like him as a Jay, but he’s a C. Jays signed a guy that could potentially get the bulk of DH duties, the people here keep insisting that Danny Jansen is good…. So I would drop Kirk’s fat ass

I wouldn’t cut Tork until next year. There’s definitely a lot of guys that you know what they are and it won’t be crushing. If Tork becomes a Top 50 asset, that would sting

It’s subsidized. I usually I take issue with with subsidized stuff I’m not one to take issue with what people want. If the Pro Curling circuit makes money, more power to it. I won’t be watching

I vaguely remember hearing he won more playoff games than any team. I’m not sure but that would even be crazier. As for his family, the conspiracy theory would be he went back to football because home life was already coming unwound. Savant is just telling (or can I should say) the same story as stats. Injury can impact both. So it becomes determining what kind of impact you think injuries had. But to the point, I would automatically reject a Story for Painter proposal, whether I was in win now or a rebuild
