It’s good following along on your favorite fantasy guys, guys like “Rolls” Royce Lewis. always will root for the Jays team, but even Bo may take a dip under .800 OPS. Not a lot of sexy going on
In fairness, Ozuna has a sub .700 OPS in 21/22. He was also one proverbial strike away from being out of baseball. Not bad to have extra DH ABs going into the season.
I’ve never been a Will Smith fan. I’d hate him if he was a Jay. Lulls you into thinking he’s good and then he blows. Sort of like you guys and Biggio, I guess.
Scouting, drafting, and developing players will always be an inexact science. Tampa’s success rate with prospects isn’t going to be much different than other orgs. Their success is more about using data to determine how to use people best.
Yeah, it’s really basic business philosophy. Employees will end up being a reflection of their manager, good or bad.
Also bad managers will often pass up on employees with more potential, as they see them as a threat
Man, the Rangers are some dumbasses trying to buy their way into the playoffs with Seager and Semien etc
They should’ve just stayed a sub .500 team for 3-4 years. Picking 11th in the draft instead of 23rd for 3-4 years would’ve been a lot more beneficial. I know as a fan that’s what I’d want
I know it’s the In Thing in baseball and the media to kick Ohtani’s nuts, but I wonder it Seager will get any significant MVP votes if he finishes strong and Texas wins the division.
I blew $200 for fun in Jays to win ALCS at 9-1 a few weeks back in Atlantic City. Genuinely did a double take on Seager at +10,000 for MVP.
