    In fairness, Ozuna has a sub .700 OPS in 21/22. He was also one proverbial strike away from being out of baseball. Not bad to have extra DH ABs going into the season.

    Scouting, drafting, and developing players will always be an inexact science. Tampa’s success rate with prospects isn’t going to be much different than other orgs. Their success is more about using data to determine how to use people best.

    Yeah, it’s really basic business philosophy. Employees will end up being a reflection of their manager, good or bad. Also bad managers will often pass up on employees with more potential, as they see them as a threat

    I know it’s the In Thing in baseball and the media to kick Ohtani’s nuts, but I wonder it Seager will get any significant MVP votes if he finishes strong and Texas wins the division. I blew $200 for fun in Jays to win ALCS at 9-1 a few weeks back in Atlantic City. Genuinely did a double take on Seager at +10,000 for MVP.
