    I think it’s fair to question Vlads drive to be great. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron, Tom Brady.. those guys all had talent but carried a chip on their shoulder no matter what kind of success they had. Hard to compare Vlads talent to baseball guys but I think Bryce Harper would be the best comp with talent and he’s seemingly had a chip on his shoulder too

    If he had signed an extension, it would be easier to boo/hate him. He’s just not living up to expectations. Definitely a disappointment but don’t wish him ill will. He’ll probably come alive in his walk year

    Spanky isn’t a leader here. He has admin capabilities in one of the board fantasy leagues and abuses the authority to the point of stealing people off other teams rosters. They know not to give him that pull here

    I wonder how often a player would be draft-able in say the first 5 rounds as either a P of Hitter. If you allowed all those guys to train for both, would there be someone like Ohtani? Admittedly he’s gone next level hitting, so it would be tough

    In theory, if you have 70/80 grade raw power, you can just go with the pitch. Vlad should be capable of putting it out to right easy enough. Strange (sad for Jay fans) case
