  1. Your intuition is right, no it’s not It’s corner outfield not running wide receiver routes
  2. Nobody jumped at the chance to give Vlad the Gatorade bath?
  3. Would not trade
  4. I don’t read anything on Fangraphs and only use it for player pages or roster resource sort of thing so I didn’t realize they were still releasing them Which is dumb. They aren’t even going to finish the top prospect lists in time to release a mid season top 100
  5. I just went to look at Fangraphs list of Orioles prospects. Doesn’t exist. They never even finished the last 10 teams. Has that place just given up on trying?
  6. They weren’t horrible on paper but it always felt like a square peg round hole type of signing. And they had like three other square pegs too
  7. I hope Spanky provides the receipts
  8. He’s the high quality utility man that good teams add as the cherry on top to good rosters. Saying he would’ve been great on the 2015 team is bang on
  9. You’re literally just the inverse of everything you hate
  10. IKF signing looks okay actually. It doesn’t really get judged fairly because of how disappointing the offseason was but he’s been good. He’s the kind of player you appreciate a lot more when you watch him everyday
  11. I don’t think anybody said that
  12. People can use the ignore function can’t they?
  13. Stop those in quotations have endured enough
  14. Move out of the city that should help
  15. Negative Nancy is right though, because the downside in not selling outweighs the upside in holding
  16. You flip flop more than a fish out of water
  17. Exactly this. The argument that it’s too early to count the Jays out of the playoff race and that there is a path to securing WC3 isn’t really a good one nor particularly exciting. A one track mindset solely focused on 2024 is a recipe for disaster Part of the argument is well the Diamondbacks did it last year so we can too! Even though they were a bad team, are currently a bad team and weren’t worthy participants in the WS, maybe it’s our turn There is no glory in limping into the third WC spot with a roster of platoon bats and guys who can play multiple positions with an 85 wRC+ The future outlook for this team is not good. They need to find a way to infuse the entire organization with talent and that starts with selling at the deadline, unless of course the goal is to just remain mediocre
  18. Okay but that doesn’t dismiss the Rangers were legitimately good
  19. Rangers had the fourth highest run differential and a pythag record of like 98-64
  20. It’s like his plus plate discipline has become a negative as his grown older
  21. The cherry blossom jerseys are my favourite as well
  22. Kikuchi and Garcia for sure. Would have to consider pretty much everybody - Gausman, Jansen, Romano, Bichette
