That's not the same thing at all. Analogy fail What you are saying is that 90% of the top 20 J2 prospects don't work hard enough. I'd love to understand what they could do differently. Nutrition? Nope. S&C regimens? Nope. Attend showcases or travel ball? Nope If I was dirt floor poor and some buscone told me to take this needle and it'll change your family's lives forever I would do it in a heart beat.

Angels farm system has significantly improved, they have lots of interesting guys to target. Outfielders too, which might actually be our biggest need outside of pitching prospects (but I’d rather not trade for them)

This is far from a certainty like you’re suggesting. The odds all of those guys become big league regulars for the Jays is almost zero.
