I know I thought the exact same thing. If Bauer has said that to this chick Lauren would’ve felt she herself had been victimized. But since Breggypoo’s biggest fan said it we just brush it off. No big deal!

I don't get why nobody wants to ask him what he first thought when he was drafted by Toronto? Any American is going to wonder at least to some extent what differences they might encounter playing in a different country. I work with lots of American kids and they typically have preconceived notions about Canada and what to expect. If he's from Ohio he might even like hockey! Who knows. Bombarding him with questions about spin rate might not get the best answers out of him though. Or you guys could ask him how he feels about the meat and cheese trays/peanut butter and jam sandwiches for pre game meals

I can add another good fantasy player if we need. If these guys are trash you can boot me too. But I can guarantee they’ll stick around a rebuild so we won’t have to worry about replacing them next year. Might gain a couple of posters too

Kid is in a tough spot. Milking both sides and getting some money from Oakland is a must. At 5’11 the NFL is going to be tough, and honestly if my kid was choosing between football and baseball I’d push him to pick baseball 100% of the time. At the same time the minors can be an absolute grind with no certainty at all. Take whatever you can from Oakland to play some MiLB ball and earn your NFL cash while you can
