  1. Robbie Ray
  2. Jose Molina has two World Series rings Put him in the HOF
  3. “This isn’t the try league, this is the get it done league” - some guy who got it done
  4. Ya I guess that’s where we differ. If I’m playing I’m not a fan of guys making jokes during the game to “lighten the mood” if we’re getting our s*** pushed in. But hey whatever works, the team definitely met expectations this year so who am I to argue otherwise?
  5. Well what are you arguing then lol
  6. Sample size - 1 Terminator - HIRE LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE
  7. I think Schneider was always the long term plan. He was going to be given this opportunity. One game sample doesn’t change anything from the clubs point of view. He knows Bo and Vlad better than anyone in the org. The two faces of the franchise. I’m completely fine with handing him the reigns.
  8. It’s not a thesis lmao it’s an observation One that many others recognized as well You’re free to think that nothing was wrong with the compete level, but people with more knowledge of the situation than you disagree.
  9. False equivalency. I think you understand that winning % cannot measure individual willingness to not lose. Everyone likes to win. Not everybody hates to lose to the same degree. There were times this year where it was completely fair to question how much some of these guys hated to lose. I said it before but there was a serious lack of urgency most of the year. Schneider had alluded to this.
  10. I agree with you 100% Unless you hate losing more than you love winning people won’t understand this critique The 2022 Toronto Blue Jays did not appear to hate losing more than they loved winning All season long it appeared as if there was never any urgency. Someone else will pick us up. It will all be fine.
  11. Lol Cheers old friend
  12. I’m gonna have to move one of the Will Contreras brothers this offseason. I don’t need two catchers on the roster all year.
  13. I would not use 10% of my budget on Yelich Package him with another player to upgrade at that position even if it’s a mild upgrade
  14. #MoLesterSources Fake news guys
  15. Probably because typically that’s the managers job It’s it possible the brain trusts upstairs made the decision? Yes. But to ask why you assume the manager did isn’t really logical
  16. You think Atkins actually has the balls to move Bo off of SS? Zero chance
  17. I don’t see any avenue to Seattle winning three in a row against Houston
  18. HOU vs SD World Series is gonna be exciting
  19. I don’t hate them either. Built from within, sustained losing all those big names and keep plugging along. They’re the Dodgers of the AL
  20. He had only thrown 17 pitches through 1.1 innings so once they took the lead I think it was an easy decision
  21. Clase coming back out for the 2.1 inning save
  22. Carroll put up half of Vlad’s WAR in just over 100 PA’s and is controlled through like 2029 They aren’t doing it
  23. I guess you gotta move whoever fetches the biggest relative haul like Jim has been saying. If Kirk gets you a young stud SP with 3+ years you have to think about that Jansen with two years remaining is only going to appeal to teams who plan on competing and might not want to subtract from their big league roster. St. Louis would be a logical partner if they were willing to move major league pieces. Moreno is the biggest question mark. I won’t be upset if they move him to address other needs but I get the feeling he’s the safest bets to stay out of the three.
