Like start the league over? Could protect say 5 players. Those 5 are assigned the average cost the 10 highest auction players. 3 year deals I’ve never played an auction dynasty so I don’t know how to properly set up league parameters

Absolutely. You have to make decisions instead of bloating your roster and hoarding every asset you’re able to I manipulate the system the same way everyone else does. Have three stud RP’s? You might have to cut a potential breakout that has promise but can’t justify holding onto while competing. Then that player ends up on a bottom end team and in theory that team works it’s way out of the basement in a couple years Chance to compete = better engagement (maybe)

Pen looks fine if Green and Pearson are 80% of what they should be come September That’s a big if though I could see the Jays adding a big RP arm at the deadline this year. Can’t sit on the fence forever I’ve been critical of the pen but I think it’s okay to start the season

Increasing salaries is an idea I’ve always liked but sounds like an administrative nightmare All these leagues are the same. Been saying the same about BBDL as well. 3 carbon copy leagues make for a stale slate of entertainment I would love to find a way to differentiate BORED or DDL and infuse some life into them Less prospects perhaps? 20 keepers again? Salaries would promote movement dealing for guys on expiring deals or trading expensive talent to get cheaper players/stay under the cap

Ya nobody in western Canada is going to flip allegiances for a team in MTL. Vancouver is a complete long shot. Same odds as an Orioles World Series in 2023 probably less

Exactly which is why if Richards sucks they should cut bait and bring in the next guy He’s more effective against lefties though so he has some appeal on this roster since the only other option is Mayza Idk, the bullpen looks decent. Top 4 are solid, Cimber seems steady and then after that the rest at least look average.

Tercet is not smart. It’s clearly an options game and it happens with every single team in the league. I agree with Keggy that having a bunch of RP’s who are out of options makes it tough to shuffle around the pen. If Richards sucks hopefully they just cut their losses and open up that roster spot

It is really unique that the Jays are supported by an entire country. Canada’s team! There isn’t a comparable that I can think of. Western Canada is massive Jays territory. Of course you’ll find Yankee and Red Sox fans scattered throughout but AB/SK/MB is filled with Jays fanatics.
