  1. I would say Cabrera is a better pure hitter than Pujols. Miggy is just insane
  2. Are you denying he's amazing? Just try to understand that you are witnessing one of the greatest hitters of all time.
  3. Cabrera is the guy. He's amazing
  4. I see Donaldson only has 5 SB, what exactly makes him a great base runner
  5. Still Cabrera he's a legend and a monster at the plate. No one is even close
  6. When I say give them a chance I mean don't write them off, not specifically give them a chance in the bigs
  7. I'm just saying you would have hated him two years ago because you give them no chance to improve
  8. Don't worry I'm not comparing them. I'm just saying I bet most people on this board would have been against him.
  9. Obviously it matters, but not that much. Just please tell me you don't think Donaldson is as good as Cabrera.
  10. So this guy spent 3 years in AAA and then put up big numbers all of a sudden? It's too bad this board would have completely written him off after he had a mediocre season in his second year in AAA at an old age.
  11. Cabrera is a legendary hitter, the best I've ever seen (I barely remember Bonds). He's really a first baseman and probably only a little below average, so that doesn't really matter. He doesn't need to be a good base runner because he has amazing power.
  12. Is Donaldson even great at any part of the game? Was he a top prospect? I've seriously never heard of this guy before this year.
  13. To add to that: Where the hell did this Donaldson guy come from? I had never heard his name before last year. Is he even that good?
  14. No I'm saying its clear Cabrera is a much better player. The fact that Donaldson is a nobody isn't related.
  15. I definitely think Cabrera should win the MVP, but I would be fine with Trout winning. Donaldson? Who? I've never even heard of the guy besides when we played the As.
  16. Some of you actually think Donaldson should win the MVP?!?!?
  17. You win by scoring more than the opponent, which sometimes is a lot about situational hitting, pitching and defense.
  18. If he's traded for Kendrick I'll lose it.
  19. Well that's good to know, because about 15 pages of this thread is a debate about his defense.
  20. Defense is a thing
  21. When the motion sensor light goes off at my school it causes a stir that distracts the class for like 5 minutes. I can imagine the whole school would crazy
  22. Imagine the entire school losing power. I think its not really a scary freak out, more like an excited freak out.
  23. Power goes out?
  24. You're still missing my point. I understand that that's a mean projection, but that projection is based past performance. I think he can get better. Now I assume that those projections take into account player age and normal progression, but based on what I've seen of Goins, and they guy of person/player he appears to be, I think he can learn a lot from our coaches and the potential to be a decent hitter.
  25. You can't seem to grasp that he can get better. It's not all about numbers
