Normal people? A) do we seem like normal people normal people use and keep up to date with modern acronyms, man. Using and creating three letter acronyms is basically a sport in itself, within the sport of baseball. Also, even if you wrote "three true outcomes" instead of TTO or "times through the order penalty" instead of TTOP, the casuals would still be just as clueless.

Makes no sense. Hutch has options so he still has a lot of value even if he's the #6 and in Buffalo at the start. I guess they could trade him for other pitching, in which case it might make sense. Still an awful time to sell.

I think it's a crummy trade for Houston, great one for Philly. Velazquez is probably a back end reliever if they plop him in the pen right now. Likely not quite as good as Giles, but still solid. Fisher is a toolshed with plus raw, plus speed, and some demonstrated OBP skeez. Oberholtzer might not be great but he has 5 years of control left and was solid in 2014. This is like Osuna + Alford + for a closer. C'mon
