    I don't think it's likely they trade Pillar this year. He's under control for two more seasons, and he should be a solid CF for both of them. Nobody in the org is really pushing him out right now, since Pompey and Alford have been useless. I'd rather hold him than get a moderate prospect. Solarte is also under control for 2019 and would be useful to keep around. He's not really having a great year so I'm not sure how much value he'd even have. He could be traded though, sure. I'd take a moderate prospect.

    Warmoth's numbers aren't good but his ratios/indicators aren't horrendous. It's not like he has busted already. And year Dunedin has a few org guys getting time on the infield.

    They really have no other legitimate direction at this point. They need to deal Donaldson and Happ this year. Kind of sucks that they don't seem to have anybody else with half decent trade value (like Joe Smith last year). I guess I could see a team giving up a prospect for Granderson.

    Yeah this is beyond obvious now that Smith is producing so well in the FSL. He's probably a safe 45 FV now, and clearly in the top 5 or so Blue Jays prospects. Meteoric season. I guess that's what happens when the guy can play SS and has power and the only concern was 'can he hit' and that question gets clearly answered 'yes!'.

    That's such an awful argument. Soto has a track record - a series of scorched earth, ~200 wRC+ performances at various levels across three different pro seasons. It's like Kiley is penalizing him for being young and moving fast. Weak. "a fast couple weeks" - man, u serious?

    If you own both you can keep both and they only use one keeper slot. You can drop or trade half of him if you want though But it’s a separate player so someone else can scoop him up

    Yes, but, as far as it’s possible to even begin thinking about projecting a 16/17 year old, it kind of seemed like he might be more of a high floor prospect than a real front end starter prospect
