People don't give Danny Jansen enough respect. Timeline talk always centres around "Vlad & Bo" but Jansen is a better prospect/asset than Bo. It's Vlad & Danny & Bo. & Lourdes, of course.

Would flip Dylan Bundy in a challenge 1 for 1 SP trade or package him with Carlos Rodon in a 2 for 1. Could also package him with Arrieta (spicy) or Gio (less spicy) to fill out your 2019 rotation. Again, 2 for 1 type deals.

They'll almost certainly have to sign or trade for an arm or two to truly compete.

Collect depth obsessively, wait for the cream to rise, then sign a couple of cherries. Toronto is not going to be as s***** as people think in 2019. They could reasonably finish .500 and be looking at 2020 offseason decisions like - do we keep Stroman in his last year of control and break camp with Bo on the roster? Do we make Aaron Sanchez an RP for 2020 to maximize that team's projected wins?

He has been viewed as a very boring prospect since the draft. MLB.com put him on their end of the year top 100 though so I doubt he misses any legit lists. I could see somewhere like BP leaving him off in favour of 47 nineteen year olds though.

In the real world, Fernando Tatis Jr. was traded for JAMES SHIELDS. There is no such thing as an egregious ask.

I guess we would really need to see where Machado settles. Boogers should get like 60-75% of that unless he has a s***** 2019.

Looks like he was in the DSL in 2017 and then the Appy in 2018. So he sort of skipped their GCL team. The Appy and Pioneer leagues are advanced rookie leagues. Being in them at 18 years old is quite appropriate. Sometimes advanced players will skip the DSL and GCL entirely (see Pardinho, Vlad, Wander Franco) and be in the Appy/Pioneer at 17, but it's not exactly commonplace.

I agree with most of this, but that is to say - the team's offense should be great with Kawhi and JV healthy. If I see Greg Monroe miss a layup and then slap his hands in frustration one more time... Anunoby is certainly frustrating. A lot of indecision with the ball. I feel like he's still a solid defender though. You can see some indecision creeping into Siakam's game too. He's making a lot of bad decisions on drives now, weird passes etc.

Chick-fil-A is great. The quality and service (and the dipping sauces!) are worth the extra money. The chicken is delicious. No surprise that Connorp is wrong. I did the AA and AAA spreadsheets over the weekend. The best prospect relative to their league in 2018 was Vladdy in AA, by a f***ing mile over any other league's best statistical prospect. And the second best prospect relative to their league in 2018? .... Vladdy in AAA! haha He is truly a historically great #1 overall prospect.

Awful awards season. Horrendous choices all around -
Would flip Gyorko (2B/3B) for someone else's fringe keeper or cut who is a CF or slightly better projected 1B/OF/UTIL. Or maybe C. Hoping to consolidate a few assets into one. Willing to deal a few younger players for one player (not ancient), if a rebuilding team is looking to sell anyone. Guys I could package would include: Brandon Lowe (2B/OF) Scott Kingery Franklin Barreto Robert Gsellman I could also include a more veteran arm (Mike Minor or Gio Gonzalez) in such package. Or I could include one of my elite RP in such package (Hand, Betances, Iglesias, Seranthony). Or Corey Dickerson. So I guess it doesn't have to be a rebuilding team - maybe any owner looking for a couple of finishing touches and/or some youth.

He had the best ISO in the Eastern League last year. I wonder if he was making a concerted effort in the majors to focus on contact (his K rate didn't slip at all upon promotion).

Aaron Sanchez should be a reliever, and he should maybe WANT to be a reliever.
