Definitely selling. Not in a rush to do so but these are the goods:
Justin Smoak
Asdrubal Cabrera (SS/2B/3B - playing well and projected well)
CJ Cron (not regressing!)
Michael Pineda (K/BB skills)
Wade Davis
Alex Colome
Dallas Keuchel
James Paxton
Noah Syndergaard - try me! Not selling low though.
Tommy Pham - maybe
Padres have quite a bit of pitching depth. Not sure they need Marcus. Certainly don't need a-a-ron. I guess they might want Ken.
Paddack
Lucchesi
Lauer
Strahm
Margevicius
Quantrill
Allen
Pedro Avila
Lamet (TJS April 2018)
Nix (who knows)
Richards (TJS July 2018)
Mackenzie Gore (Would probably be their 2nd best MLB pitcher lol)
They are different degrees of the exact same skill. The fact that lots of baseball people insist on talking about them as different things/skills is largely correlated to the fact that lots of baseball people are complete f***ing morons. Thanks for self-categorizing.
Spencer Turnbull + MiLB 45 to silvergums
Matthew Liberatore + MiLB 43 to me
Matt is a prospect so I'll be promoting a prospect to make room for him. Adames I guess.
Like our beautiful province, I am Open For Business.
Mostly would look to sell legitimate Ace James Paxton, who is amazing and is not seriously hurt, c'mon.
Offer me a sexy rebuilding package for him.
Yeah they should still be Fred's minutes. He just needs to be smarter about how he plays. Philly's length basically neutralizes him as an offensive threat.
Pathetic is the perfect word. That franchise needs to f***ing move. There is no helping it. I feel embarrassed for Lindor.
At least rebrand them as the Cleveland Spiders...
You're overcorrecting in an attempt to be objective. There are like three phantom calls against Toronto this game.
The flagrant against Ibaka was trash. The dick punch by Simmonds wasn't even called.
Then you can get to all of the normal fouls by Philladelphia that aren't being called (what you're talking about).
He is getting almost zero pitches down the middle. Got impatient about it last night for really the first time and took some bad swings.
If prime Jose Bautista was getting pitched to like this he would have like 8 walks over Vlad's five games.
It's mostly a string of awful luck that pitchers haven't made more mistakes and given him some pitches to actually hit.
It's really something. They were total zeroes. Ibaka, I guess could have been expected since the fact that he was good this year was itself kind of surprising. Powell has been bad for a while so that's not surprising, despite his flashes of positive impact. FVV is a big surprise... not sure if he is choking or playing hurt or what it is.
Raps played like s*** and still arguably should have won, when you consider the technical fouls and how many wide open threes they clanked. Not worried.
Depth looks like a big issue though. The bench is awful. An injury to a starter could be catastrophic.
