  1. What about him
  2. I haven't seen a single person put a really good player on the trade block. .... .......
  3. What does that article say? One sentence summary please
  4. How many names deep can we go? Tejeda and Taveras are irreparable. Willie Calhoun is below replacement level when he could have been a really good hitter. Even Odor might have been f***ed up despite a couple of successful MLB years; he debuted so young. Mazara gave them nothing. Guzman flopped. They can't develop a starting pitcher to save their franchise, too. The best starter they've developed in the last decade is like Martin Perez or some s***. The best pitcher to grace their system with prospect status in the last few years might have been Jordan Romano lmao. Honestly you love to see it. I might take the Orioles org over the Rangers right now.
  5. The Rangers are such a mess. Their strategy of not caring about the hit tool and then rushing prospects up the ladder has predictably been a disaster. Look at Anderson Tejeda this year. -51 in the majors, then a 23 wRC+ in AAA, then a 75 or whatever in AA. Lmao.
  6. Overthinking it. Just sign a P. Correa is ugly anyway. But to answer the question I suppose Bieber for Bo is fair. I'd rather keep Bo though.
  7. I don't think the integrity of the process is something you should really care about lol
  8. Her tweet is legitimate crazy person stuff. Off the rails. From what I can tell she mostly LARPs as a serious lawyer. She does like, social services / poverty law last time I looked... It's bottom of the barrel stuff. Maybe some Dunning-Kruger effect at play
  9. Gausman has been bad/mediocre since the break. Giants fans are pissed at him lol. Showing some signs of his old self.
  10. There is no narrative like that. That's in your head.
  11. Valera is here to distract the opposing pitchers with his crater face.
  12. Bummer is no bum...
  13. Yeah it's perfect. There are so many players where fans forever say "if he could just fix that one thing..." Ray is the guy that fixed that one thing entirely without giving anything up.
  14. At this rate he's going to get 5 or 6 years I think. He's relatively young as far as high level free agent starters go
  15. So Robbie Ray is a legit Ace now eh?
  16. I do believe it's shorter. Gregorius had TJS October 2018 and was activated from the DL June 2019. Best case scenario would be Biggio still missing a little bit of 2022. If he had TJS this month.
  17. Yeah it's not great. Some of the young SP/RP depth like Hatch, Kay, Thornton have been complete zeros and that doesn't help.
  18. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popov_v._Hayashi
  19. https://www.mlb.com/bluejays/ballpark/information/guest-code-of-conduct Foul Balls, Homerun Balls & Bats During the game, fans must stay in their seats except when travelling to concessions, restrooms, or for emergencies and fan services support. All guests are asked to stay alert throughout the game for foul balls or bats that might leave the playing area. Guests are permitted to keep any foul and home run balls that are hit into the seats, but are asked to be cautious and courteous to others when collecting a ball. Bats entering the stands must be returned if requested by the Blue Jays or visiting team. Guests are prohibited from throwing balls back onto the field. Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest. Any guest that interferes with a ball in play or the game in any way is subject to ejection from the ballpark and/or criminal prosecution.
  20. Part of me still thinks it's a bit of a jerk play. Just the act of holding an object of such personal importance to someone else away from them as part of a cold act of negotiation. I'm sure there is a portion of rich players who would refuse to pay significant money for it as a matter of principle.
  21. So the jerk play is to get a lawyer and tell the player's reps you want like $50k for it or else you'll just keep it.
