  1. Maybe Bieber can settle in now. They didn't hit anything hard there. Made good pitches to finish off Rivas and Robles. Also was a good pitch to Randy
  2. Hmmm. Naylor hitting third tonight. Robles in for Canzone.
  3. Still a chance for you to just delete this post
  4. Louis Varland has pitched in every postseason game but one and he has a 2.80 ERA and xFIP Elite, and what a total professional trooper
  5. I don't know if jerj kerby even knows how to not throw strikes
  6. Someone needs to find Grant77 We need a ceremonial post about how horrible Seattle is and how their defense is the worst in the history of the American League. It seems to work when he says this.
  7. The Jays have the opposite scenario. They could use everybody but Bieber going 5+ innings would be massive.
  8. Seattle must almost be tempted to go full bullpen game Munoz - 2 IP Brash - 1 Bazardo - 1 Speier - 1 (try to give him for the Varsho-Clement-Barger lane) Woo - 2 or 3 IP Kirby is barely needed and is he the weak link?
  9. How built up is Woo? How many pitches can he throw? Feel like they will go with Kirby but with a very quick hook, and Woo is the next guy. Munoz is probably good for two innings today. If they don't get to Kirby and Woo is good, that means the key to the game might be to run up Woo so the Ms have to use some other relievers in the middle innings.
  10. One of Lauer or Bassitt would be a great wrinkle to throw at the Mariners lineup at this point. You could even surprise the top of their order with that matchup. It won't happen. They used Bassitt in the game 1 blowout and must not have liked what they saw? I don't really get it either, especially since Schneider clearly trusts almost nobody in the bullpen at this point, aside from Varland. The WS would be October 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 31, Nov 1 Yesavage, Gausman, Bieber, Scherzer, Yesavage, Gausman, Bieber I get what you mean, but you'd then have Trey as the WS G7 secret weapon Anyway, gotta do whatever it takes to win tonight even if that means Jose Berrios has to start two games in the WS
  11. For the World Series? I think he just would go game 2 on full rest. Trey game 1.
  12. Such a crazy up and down series. A close series with almost no close games. Like two heavyweights just trading haymakers. Both teams at various times have looked like the Team of Destiny, or the Team Destined to Lose Game 5, Clement's bizarre and insane double play off home plate. Destined to Lose. Clement's 363 flyball is robbed from being a homer. Destined to Lose. Little and Seranthony serving it up. Destined to Lose. Cal Raleigh 340 foot pop fly homer. The Mariners are the Team of Destiny. Game 6. Vlad 116 mph groundball out with the bases juiced. Destined to Lose? And then Cal Raleigh bases loaded double play. Team of Destiny? Next inning, same thing. Team of Destiny? Leo Rivas is two feet from a two run homer, ends up with a silly single. Team of Destiny? Wild stuff. Drama.
  13. I think Gausman has to be the weapon today. He could be the 6 out closer. Bieber - Varland - Gausman = the ideal roadmap. 6, 1, 2. If Bieber cannot give you 6 innings, then Seranthony + Hoffman are in play for the middle innings Schneider should not be scared to use Fluharty or Fisher but he seems to not trust them
  14. Hoffman can pitch an inning tomorrow, he's not "burned".
  15. The Mariners can keyhole every reliever Almost need to just use Bassitt and Lauer. Secret weapons?
  16. Game plan: No lineout double plays No once in a generation bases loaded random double plays No 363 foot flyouts stolen from being homers No 340 foot pop fly homers surrendered
  17. Hey, good thing the measurement of truth is not "what is the YouTube crowd saying"
