  1. BB%, K%, ISO. 5.9%, 19.4%, .200 5.0%, 27.7%, .240 One of those is Brandon Belt, the other one is Brett Lawrie...
  2. "Chris Davis has been placed on the DL" THEN PUT HIM ON THE DL YAHOO GOD
  3. Can you add an unlimited number of co-commissioners on Yahoo? Thinking about adding one more so that we can increase the speed that stuff gets done. Also I'd like to have to do less. Ideally, this is someone who is super active in the league, will never leave it under any circumstances, and has literally nothing else going on in life. So basically, North, if he'd want to do it. They'd get editing powers on proboards and the Google Doc as well.
  4. THB: Kennedy + 48 --------> Napoli and 66 FTD: Fried + 46 + 77 ---------> Ian Kennedy and Tyler Thornburg BB: Napoli + Thornburg + 66 ----------> Max Fried + 46 + 48 + 77 Me no likey this one for BB. I feel like if he shops Napoli a la carte, he can probably get two prospects better than Max Fried. But I might just be stat scouting Fried here. I get that 20 year old lefties with 6/6/6+ pitch grade profiles are sexy, but if we let the world turn 100 times, Max Fried doesn't end up as anything more than Tyler Thornburg after more than 60 of those Earthly spins.
  5. It's funny how it's just hard to reach agreements with certain guys. I've always found it easy to trade with Dinger, BTS, KK, Boxy, and Silvergun. Can never seem to come to terms with Gibbers, Silvio, The Hurl, North, or TCA. Some of those feelings might be off base
  6. I'd keep running him out there. He's so close to figuring it all out. The velocity is there, the secondary pitch quality is there, the command is often there for at least 3 or 4 innings. He wasn't gonna come back from the dead and immediately turn into a refined MLB #3 SP, guys. Think of him like a prospect.
  7. Has Mauer caught a game this year? If he loses C eligibility his value plummets
  8. Bourn looks like a shell of his former self at this point (~.315 OBP with 30 SB instead of .350 with 60). Pick 55 is good value for him but at the same time Dinger is probably happy that he doesn't have to try to trade him anymore, and he can just move on.
  9. Remembering Corbin AND Cingrani for Gordon should make you feel a bit better
  10. This one might be the bestest: Apr 17 1:22 pm A 2nd Leg To Stanton receives: Josh Donaldson (Oak - 3B,) picks 98 & 103 London Slayers receive: picks 56 & 96 OAK-3B just so we know who he is...
  11. What were the big league assets in this? To insert clever name: Yordano Ventura, Lucas Giolito, #88 To A Wrench In the Plan: #76
  12. Fun trade from last year: To B.Inge Drinking Fowler + Infante + #60 To BALCO PHARM TEAM Kipnis + #94. lololol
  13. Outside observers should note that Boxy's team basically has no chance of even sniffing the playoffs before, like, 2017.
  14. I hope Melky is for real! Let's hope everybody is for real! (except for Belt. f*** that guy)
  15. Brett Cecil is so f***ing good as a reliever.
  16. Right about now, I feel like Danny Salazar gave me an STD, filed divorce papers, took the dog and shacked up with Brandon Belt. fml
  17. Twins chose to take Mastro off their 40 man for Sam Fuld which is why he was on waivers, but once a guy is added to the 40 man he gets three option years, so it looks like Mastro is in his third and final option year right now.
  18. Also, Mastro is white and as we all know, the Blue Jays could benefit from a bit less ethnic diversity in the clubhouse. #LatinoClique
  19. Mastroianni is better than Moises Sierra or Anthony Gose by almost any measure. Pros for Sierra: - More raw and game power than Gose or Mastro - RHB is better than LHB Gose given Jays' current roster construction Pros for Gose: - Tools; upside - More defense than Mastro (presumably, but this isn't known) - Youngest and had best minor league age vs. level - Slightly more SB volume than Mastro in minors Pros for Mastro: - Best hitter for AVG and OBP in the minors of the trio - Best BB and K rates in minors of the trio - SB volume in minors very close to Gose (222 in 603 G vs. 253 in 629) - Much better SB% than Gose in minors (87% vs. 73%) - More defense than Sierra, and at least similar defense to Gose - RHB better than LHB Gose for Jays current roster f*** scouts!!! Mastro for 4th OF!
  20. He's a functional retard, and his approach and skillset are presently combining to produce the absolute least amount of synergy possible. He doesn't have great innate pitch recognition or plate discipline skills, for one thing. He swings at a huge array of pitches as a result. And he has aggressively adopted this pansy ass "up-the-middle" approach like he's Derek f***ing Jeter, so he's essentially swinging late and softly at a bunch of junk pitches. Ends up putting them in play weakly because his hand eye hit-tool thingamajig is pretty good. Brett Lawrie needs to stop thinking, and start trying to crush balls. I think he needs to get his swing started earlier and swing harder. Maybe let that K% rise by a few points for the sake of some more power. If Carlos Gomez and Ian Desmond can turn into true talent ~.340+ wOBA hitters, then so can Lawrie.
  21. Farewell, Ike Davis. I'd say that I barely knew thee, but I've drafted and dropped you the last two years in the PL. You won't fool me again! I won't allow it!
  22. So how long until we all move back to the old ghost town?
  23. Haven't read through this whole thread, but why is this place working on mobile but not on my home WiFi? Browser cache or something like that that I dont understand?
