  2. The problem with people like you is that you don't watch the games, and then when the numbers don't regress ever so often, you chock it up to "a change in skill level" and carry on with your statistical white washing. Turn on the TV once in a while and maybe try to explain the data before defaulting to RTTM, you pleb.
  3. Mark Buehrle is 84th all time in pitching bWAR. Four more league average ish seasons and he could move into the top 50. 11 bWAR back of Roy Halladay, what are his odds of catching Doc? 5% maybe? Buehrle 4HOF? lol.
  4. I'd really like to know who the handful of interesting, unowned, draftable prospects are..... but I might be way too lazy to do the digging.
  5. Starting pitching is so f***ing thin in this waiver draft. Top of the available by o-rank: 1. Wandy 2. Bruce Chen (Yordano and Duffy could take his rotation spot; RP) 3. Jorge De La Rosa 4. Chad Gaudin (released 4 days ago) 5. Carlos V (no rotation spot; RP) 6. Brandon Cumpton (who?) 7. Jeff Locke 8. Zach McAllister 9. Tom Gorzellany (RP) 10. Jason Vargas 11. Colby Lewis (on a minor league deal I think) 12. Ross Ohlendorf 13. Jeanmar Gomez 14. David Hale 15. Todd Redmond 16. Chad Jenkins Pure sex
  6. Noticed that Nolan Arenado has 500 PA, so JaysBlue has to call him up as per our MiLB roster management rules. He acknowledged this earlier ITT when he made his cuts, and listed a 20 man roster that had Arenado on it while having no Billingsley, but he didn't list Billingsley in his "cuts" section of that post. Sil, is Billingsley the guy you want to cut for Arenado?
  7. Big ups to BTS (aka Cheeto) for inputting all of the rosters into Yahoo (save for Spankystein's)
  8. In fairness to realmin, his team doesn't really need a lot of tinkering.
  9. Found speedy's cuts. Made them. Orange.
  10. I'm worried about our college buddy. Alcohol? Drugs? Women!? What in the world could he be into...
  11. Must've been buried without one of us noticing.
  12. Made my cuts. Still blue: Realmin Havok Speedygose Spanky JaysBlue ~8 hours
  13. Did you make cuts somewhere? I might have missed them. He's on your roster right now though.
  14. Must make cuts: Realmin Silvergun Speedygose Spanky Me JaysBlue BTS
  15. Are these official cuts or are you still trying to make trades?
  16. So promising one outing, and then a gas can the next...
  17. Cuts processed for GP. If people haven't noticed, if your name is blue on the spreadsheet then that means you still need to make cuts.
  18. I guess with Kemp and Crawford I shouldn't really worry about playing time, but I think he'd be 4th on their depth chart right now which is why he's kinda poopy.
  19. Any of those plugs could be on the cover of Boxy's team media guide. And De Aza could be my starting CF if Ethier gets benched and JB Jr. doesn't breakout. Ethier De Aza JB Jr. Marisnick slingin' CF poop at the wall...
  20. Keep in mind that Teheran still had 5 years of control left. Had he not signed this extension, here is a hypothetical salary progression with that term and AAV: 500k 500k 3M 6M 10M 12.4M (FA) The Braves basically guarantee him that ^, which includes one FA year of control, and they also get a 12M team option on the 7th year. So they kind of just guarantee Teheran close to what he would've received in arbitration anyway in order to gamble 12.4M on Teheran for 2019, and then they get a good team option for 2020. It's decent for Atlanta and it's how teams do business now, but it still has tangible downside. Think of what happened with Romero.
  21. LoMo, Nava, De Aza.... which garbage 5th OF will fluke his way to the better 2014!?
  22. Yeah, deadline is tomorrow at midnight. In the DDL missing the cutdown deadline results in us sending thedogg your email address and phone number.
  23. hoarding! But yeah, they might be onto something. I like Nate Karns and Bedard is an awesome arm to get on a minor league deal. C ya Price! Wonder where he'll land...
