    You know the Rays are only trading Price if they can get an elite, major league ready position prospect (or a similarly good young MLBer), among some other scraps. Aaron Sanchez probably doesn't interest them very much at all as a centrepiece.

    Man, Ike Davis is probably one of the most tempting pieces of fantasy baseball s*** ever made. Two straight years in the PL I've drafted and dropped him. And I was convinced I was taking him at #18 in this draft, but then Wandy was available. Probably for the best. f***in' Ike.

    Drabek might seem like a complete lost cause, but I really don't think he's that much different than the majority of "stuff" pitching prospects. He'll likely never be anything, but if something clicks for him then he could be a monster. Is he that much different than, say, Aaron Sanchez? The raw pitch quality is undeniable and with his demonstrated GB tendencies he might not need to K/BB as hard as you might think. You just have to slay one dragon, Kyle. The walk dragon. He looks like Ted Williams, wearing Bonds' elbow guard. Slay him with your awkwardness.

    Sometimes people pop onto proboards on their phone from work/school, but it's not as easy on a mobile browser to check Yahoo and see who's available. But yeah, people should realize that we're basically in the 22nd round of a 25 round draft at this point. No need to sleep on a pick, or think about something for more than 10 minutes. Pick your flier and pop him, fellas. Let's go!

    He's probably terminal, but "dead arm" isn't necessarily a kiss of death. I don't think anybody ever wanted Niese over Dickey if the cost was similar, but I think some people believed that Niese would be a better target since he'd cost much less. One thing that did happen was Mets fans would crawl over to the board and inform all of us that our stupid JPA centred packages would never land Dickey, it would take d'Arnaud+ easily, and our stupid trade proposals probably wouldn't even be enough to land Niese.

    1/4 done in about 6 days. Meh. Would be nice to have a better pace, but what can you do.

    I'm not sure what would be appropriate. Hopefully he makes his pick tonight or tomorrow. If not, I'll light the Darrell signal and we'll make an executive decision tomorrow night.
