  1. D-Bags aren't even going to be .500 this year. I don't see why a catcher with one year of control would interest them, unless it was just a salary dump swap (Cahill for Navarro) which might have been discussed.
  2. If you can't make that argument then you shouldn't be the GM of a baseball team, lol.
  3. ps congrats on making a nice trade yesterday and undoing the wrong that you did to yourself by trading for Hyun-Jin
  4. Pretty obvious that nobody wanted to trade for Navarro. Would you have just cut him loose? Maybe that's the right decision but it's a pretty tough one to make. Bad precedent for future free agents.
  5. Clearly. They didn't trade for Smoak because they covet his league average first base defense, lol.
  6. Randy Wolf, Chad Jenkins, Jeff Francis, Andrew Albers, Scott Copeland. Your AAA SP depth... Oh, Johan Santana and Felix Doubront too. gulp.
  7. Poor Dan Straily didn't even make the Astros. His 2012 had stat scouters absolutely salivating.
  8. If you drop someone I'll add Schoop or you (on W now)
  9. You can just call him up because I'm going to blame BTS here. BUT - you have to promote him, because I believe that was the initial intention. Also, I own Chris Taylor but if you want to trade for him give me a ring
  10. The real question - why would anybody want Jonathan Schoop?
  11. possible that you posted a cut and nobody noticed
  12. Zeros traded for Schoop a few weeks ago so he owns him and should have dropped/promoted someone else to accommodate. BTS, who traded him Schoop, is a commissioner and probably processed the trade. As a commissioner, he should have noticed the 13 prospects situation when he processed it and informed z3r0s. He was probably too busy control-f'ing for Kris brryant.
  13. big boy league run along to the BBDL now, kid
  14. Principally, KK: Jackson+Hoffman+Chapman+Pompey for Darvish SVG: Darvish+Matz for Chapman+Ryu+Romo+Dahl+Pompey BOXY: Romo+Dahl+Ryu for Jackon+Hoffman+Matz Really like it for Boxy. You did about as well as possible for selling a broken Darvish. Very well. From KK's perspective, I wish he had have been able to hold on to one of those "1-1 convo" prospects. Jackson+Hoffman+Chapman is a lot for him to move for Darvish given his team situation.
  15. Wow Someone break this down by each team's "give and get"
  16. Too bad your team went out like a -15 wet fart, Van, but good year nonetheless. This Championship is dedicated to Wilko, who auto-drafted most of my core players, and also to GoldBull who I think traded me Foligno and Parise.
  17. Gray, Rasmus, and Assdribble. But before that you dealt Folty+Heaney+Pineda for Rasmus+Beachy+ Clint Coulter. If the trade off for North winning the league was him making the trade history and agreeing to curate it, then it might have all been worth it...
  18. Juan Oramas DFA'd to make room for the kids
  19. Surprised to see JF cut Folty Someone who likes mph should be all over that hot garbage
  20. Weird decision. Him and Rusney both getting optioned after ~$70M deals. Although you get the sense that Castillo will be back very soon once they can trade someone. Tomas looks like a developmental decision, which hurts. Also hurts my Arencibia Classic team
  21. +1 By deploying players in the correct (or incorrect) roles, managers can be worth a lot and are arguably the most valuable member of a team. There's also the whole motivation, clubhouse chemistry thing which the manager is pretty important in.....
  22. no u try to make the playoffs this year k?
